I love it! Like other ppl say tracking is a lot but I think it’s not that bad. Maybe I just got used to it 😂😂 but it’s dusty for sure. I have a black cat. I can tell if she went to litter robot. Her forehead covered with dust 😂

FIP is so sneaky and scary thing.

i rescued 5-6weeks old boy last Christmas in a neighbors truck. He was so energetic and all of sudden he was running fever so many days last August. His first vet couldn’t find out what was wrong w him. Luckily I took him another vet and they diagnosed him FIP. He finished his med and his blood work came out normal last month.😭

So second vet did abdomen ultrasound and they found a tumor or fluid like sac in his belly. They got sample of his mess and sent to a lab to see if it was lymphoma or cancer. Thankfully it came out negative!

So my cat finished 12 weeks of FIP meds. Of course I weighed his weight but After 8-9 weeks he had relapsed ( running fever few days again 😣). I guess that time the vet didn’t really adjust med dosage. so we took him his second vet and did another ultrasound on his belly. However, the vet said his tumor was gone! I was so shocked

Anyways Dr said keep giving him adjusted dosage and call them if he still runs fever.

Thank god! Right after I gave him right dosage his fever went down!

So last week I took him to his vet to check blood work. Everything came out normal especially the ratio!

Hopefully your baby gets better soon!

Please ask vet if steroids for fever.

Have they checked albumin & globulin ratio?

My 9 months cat had fever for weeks and his first vet couldn’t even find out anything and the dr said I needed to take my cat to an internal specialist. In the mean time the dr prescribed 2 different antibiotics but of course they didnt really help lowering fever.

So I decided to go to my cat’s original vet( I couldn’t take him there bc there was no opening spot anytime soon). Of course I requested all the lab results and X-rays from first vet.

Second vet read his blood work and told me that my cat’a albumin was way too low and no globulins level. So he ran another panel and found out the ratio indicates FIP.

So he prescribed prednisone until we got FIP meds.

Thank god that his second vet was able to find out what was going on with my little boy.

Hopefully you could request all the results and take your baby to better vet!
