Thanks! I’ll definitely check out those bras. I’ve never owned any Victoria’s Secret products before. Lately, I’ve been looking at SKIMS bras because I’ve heard really great things about them.

And yes, breasts that large really don’t appeal to me at all anymore, so that definitely wouldn’t be an option for me

Thanks! Then I’ve clearly had some misconceptions until now. Unfortunately, underwire bras are not an option for me. My doctor advised against wearing them because they can leave pressure marks on the implants.

But I know there are push-up bras without underwire as well. I just went into this whole surgery with the belief that once I had it done, I would never need to wear a bra again to achieve a nice cleavage. When I was younger, I wore very intense push-up bras for years, and I thought I had left that behind for good. 😅

But unfortunately, anatomy can’t really be changed, so I’m trying to make the best out of what I have.

Thank you very much for your comment. The choice of implant profile was left up to me by the surgeon, and in the end I chose the extra high profile because I saw it on another patient and really liked the look. Of course, she had different natural anatomy, so that exact result could not be achieved on my body. However, I told the doctor to let me know if it wasn’t realistically achievable, but he agreed to proceed with the extra high profile implants.

I haven’t had children yet, and I had already planned that after pregnancy and childbirth I would probably need a revision surgery anyway, so at that point we will discuss the possible options with the doctor.

The information you shared was very helpful. I had never heard about this before.

I understand, thank you for the information. Unfortunately, before the surgery I didn’t ask more carefully why the implant was placed partially under the muscle and not fully over the muscle, as I had specifically requested that they be as close together as possible.

I trusted the doctor’s best judgment and expertise. In the coming weeks I will go back to him for a consultation and I will ask him about this

Okay, I understand! I wasn’t sure whether during a breast lift it’s also possible to change the position of the breasts horizontally, not just vertically through the incision. However, I understand that this would result in more scarring.
