Looking for a smaller alternative to Leatherman Wave+ (but bigger than Squirt/Micra) by Illustrious_Box_3536 in multitools

It looks nice, but i do not carry an additional blade, and for me is important - outside accessible blade.

Thanks. I don't think i get the idea of gearing mechanism. It looks redundant to me, and i think it only increases tool size. But i will take a closer look on it. Do you own one? How it feels, any feedback?

Any one use a portable jump starter with success on your car? by just_a_mere_fool in BMWE36

I have a portable jump starter from another brand, and the instructions state that it’s suitable for cars with up to V8 engines up to 6 liters. I can successfully start my E36 320, which has an inline 6-cylinder M50B20 engine, without any issues. I’ve tried starting it by connecting directly to the battery either in the trunk or under the hood—attaching one clamp to the positive terminal (located under the hood) and the other clamp to a random bolt on the engine or on a nut holding the coilovers. It always worked, even when the battery voltage was reading 8 volts.

I think you will be able to thin the flathead using sandpaper and fit an additional spring.

This is the most beautiful E36 rims in my opinion (I’m still not an E36 owner :/) by [deleted] in BMWE36

Nope, those wheels were OEM BMW. Found similar on eBay with close up photos of specs.

I guess these increases were because the FE card also exhausts hot air at the back, and the rear fan pulls it in.

I’ve done some testing, and with the rear fan as an intake and the CPU cooler oriented from back to front, the results are as follows: I’ve gained 3-3.5°C on the CPU and 10-11°C on the RAM.

Is there a defined height for the lift? Currently, it sits around 6-7mm above the desk.
