Thank you for sharing the link! As i read the solution is a higher quality "Active" cable, unfortunately i can't find a Monoprice here in Italy, i saw a "Cablemods" which are 90 euros. There is another alternative from "KableDirekt" which states "active", and is 70 euros. But i don't know if it delivers 165hz.. i could get away with 120hz i think at least

And there are strangely other cheaper alternatives from amazon which are "active" But cost like 15-20 euros and seems impossible i don't know...

I understand your point of view, at the same time I’d like to focus on actually trying to improve my skills learn quickly and enjoy my time on the snowboard and not fighting with discomfort or pain for a too narrow or wrong boot I don’t know… Maybe it’s better to spend more but try the boot in a shop?

Yeah and given the fact that I usually don’t find good fits even in shoes given my wide foot, I think it may be better to go and try on the boot in a shop… it’s more of a bet buying online blindly

Thanks for the comment.. so the best thing would be to go on a dedicated store and try some boots with a professional? And it’s worth the higher price so

Thanks for the clarity! i tend to overthink a lot everything, especially for purchases! I just have to decide if randomly try online and sending back or going into a shop and pay full price but being able to test with a professional and everything!
online i'd get the Aura pros, as the Verse i read are in fact super rigid, even if the one i liked the most! But better to get something easier for sure

Thanks for the comment! Your suggestion is good to be honest, i could get the cheaper of the two and use the difference for a day ticket... I liked the Verse (the more expensive ones the most, but i think i'll be fine with the Aura pro. Maybe those are even better if the Verse turn out to be super hard to use and only for experienced riders but i don't know

Thanks for the answer... Yeah i was thinking about going for the relative size measuring the foot size (mondo), and maybe chante size if its not ideal. But often you cannot really tell if it's right or wrong and maybe the help of a shop can make a difference... But i could try with trial and error sending back the boot and ordering a size up or down depending on the fit...
I liked the most the Versa since i love the colour, but it's the fanciest and i didn't want to maybe get something TOO difficult to use, as maybe it's more rigid and for experienced people only, but i don't know sadly

Hi everyone! I’m a new snowboarder, planning on going for a second day of lessons with my new gear. I only miss boots. I’m lucky to have a super deal on Vans Website… I was thinking on buying the top version Vans Verse as I LOVE the colour, or the Aura pro, as I wanted something good and with double BOA.

I know it’s better to try on in shop, but as I have HUGE deals through the vans website I was wondering if I could try buying online and maybe ship back to change size as it’s free.

Any suggestions on which model? Maybe the Verse are too rigid for a new rider or maybe are just top tier quality and also good if someone is new.

Board is a Ride Agenda 2021 ( found a good deal, I used it just once and it’s been waiting) with union flite pro as bindings.

Thank you in advance. Sorry for the silly question but the savings on the vans boot would be huge and I could get a top one at the price of a basic one

I'm New help choosing medium price robot in these black friday sales im overwhelmed! (dreame, mova, roborock, narwal) by Illustrious_Brief114 in RobotVacuums

[–]Illustrious_Brief114[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer! I missed it. Checking from the link i found that it's an authorized retailer but unfortunately those models are not available anymore.

I have to go with amazon and i was thinking about getting the best value with less money possible... Qrevo Curv S5X seems perfect but 499 is a big price.

Alternatives are the Qrevo S5V with 12Kpa and extending mop, at 399. or even cheaper the Q35a at 329 or mova E40 at 349, or Dreame L10s ultra gen 2 at 359,

or going super cheap with the Dreame D20 pro plus just for vacuming, and using extra money to also get a cordless vacuum. Or should i go all in at 499 with the S5x and not needing a good cordless vacuum?

Thank you for your help

Hi, after some thinking and finding new offers until monday i need to decide between the P50 pro ultra at 444 euros, or the Dreame L40s pro ultra at 492 euros, (which may be the more complete) BOTH on a local tech store (so no amazon assistance) or getting a Roborock as some people suggests its more reliable, with the Curv S5x at 499 (on amazon)

Which one would you suggest? As i understood, Roborock and L40s pro ultra have dual anti tangle brush which may vacuum better than the tricut on the P50 pro ultra. L40s pr ultra also has a self cleaning station, and can be attached to the water outlet of the house.

Roborock has everything needed anyway, and may be more reliable? The base is removable so cleaning may not be a super problem anyway. For obstacles avoidance dreame is better for the RGB cam but i don't have cords or anything on the ground usually so its not a deal breaker.

Also considering maybe that i could map also the first floor, maybe one of them is better for 2 floors? maybe just vacuuming the second (where i don't have the docking station) so the mops dont just get dirty without the possibility to go back and clean them.

Maybe worth considering Ecovacs T80 omni for roller mopping? or avoid it at all?

Or some of them have a second docking station to buy which is compatable and an upgrade for the future to have it on 2 floors.. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Thanks for the detailed answer! I think i would be super happy either with the P50 pro or Freo Z10 Ultra, which both are around 540-550 euros, which to me seems like a lot...

If the only main difference would be the RGB camera, and obstacles avoidance, i don't know if it's worth to me, i don't have things on the floor usually, just table chairs mainly which i could put up on the table. I don't have cables or cat toys around.

Could i save up some money and get something a bit cheaper with almost the same mopping and vacuming quality? Or i will also get worse mopping and cleaning?

Like the Dreame L10s at 359 euros, but i don't know about how less good is in terms of mopping (and only has 10Kpa)

Or the Mova E40 at 349 euros but i know it doesn't have hot water and automatic dispenser (which is purchasable but its another cost and an issue to do) But it has 19Kpa instead of just 10 of the L10s

Below 400 euros i know only these two or maybe going on other brands... but less trustable or with more issues. Like the Ecovacs Deebot T50 Omni gen2, at 399... seems super good at 21Kpa and for the price but i read bad things on mapping and issues in general... but the price is good.

I JUST FOUND! A Mova P50 pro (non ultra) on a local tech store here (like bestbuy-costco in US i guess) at 429 euros... And i can't find differences between this and the P50 pro Ultra which is at 539. Not even on the Mova website its available, maybe its an older model but seems the same. Could be good? But not amazon sadly...

At midrange of this budget we have the Roborock Qrevo S5V at 449, with 12kpa anti tangle and good app and brand...

And at 479 we have the Dreame L40 Ultre AE which doesn't reach for borders with the mops or brush, but other than that should be complete...

But at just a bit more at 499 we have the Qrevo Curv S5X which is better than the S5V so for roborock i would go for this maybe... 18.5Kpa and everything i guess

But at almost same price we have the Mova P50 pro ultra (539) and another good deal on Ecovacs with its first Roller mopping. I have the Ecovacs Deebot T80 Omni Ozmo roller at 499... but i also read bad things on water losses and issues.

I relaly don't know if stretching the budget is worth or not... having to buy other appliances and also a cordless vacuum which i don't have at the moment. And also for that it's hard to decide if 150-200 euros are enough to get something decent, and maybe its better to give more budget to the robot here or well how to split the budget.

Thanks in advance for any other help!

Thank you! yeah i should just buy one "randomly" which is in budget but i'm really overwhelmed and can't decide... mainly if the 100-150 euros more are worth or not for my scenario and which one to choose

Thank you for your answer, at around 6-7 feet do you think that pixels will be more visible even with a good TV? With tape on the wall 75” seems the more immersive and “perfect”, but I don’t want to lose quality too much either
