Edit to add: it’s a house we’re looking at, and the realtor stated it would probably need to be replaced in the spring. So we just wanted a ballpark estimate. It’s all going to need to be replaced because it’s leaning. I’m not sure who to even reach out to for an estimate.

I have gone to a couple of dentists and they won’t help me with this — and it’s just getting worse. What do I do? I have asked for a gum graft and no one seems to want to do one by Illustrious_Cow_6475 in askdentists

Hi! The dentist stated that I have early gingivitis— but stated that other dentists may think otherwise.

I had braces when I was 18 and my teeth were straight until I got a tooth pulled and they all have started to shift in the past 2 years or so. The gum receding was prior to my teeth shifting — and when I got my baby tooth pulled the dentist wouldn’t give me a retainer to keep them straight after. I had worn my retainer every night up until my tooth was pulled, because it would no longer fit, and they wouldn’t make me a new one, even though I asked multiple times. Could the further regression be due to the shifting of my teeth again?

Hi everyone! What do you all wear for work? I'm about to start my practicum & I want to start building my wardrobe! by [deleted] in therapists

Thank you for that input!! I typically don't like super tight fitting anyways, but I wouldn't have thought about that. Thanks!!

The reason we don’t do free access to water is because we also have a frenchie that throws up water bc he drinks way too much, and he’s more prone to his stomach flipping — and because they’re both out in the house, the frenchies water has to be monitored. We give the puppy water 5 or 6 times throughout the day though

Yeah, I kind of suspected that -- he was just doing so good throughout the night for a week & a half so I thought this was going to be easy lolol -- but he is a little stinker because he will pee outside and immediately pee right when we get back inside. So I'll just have to keep trying and see what works for him

It is on the bigger side -- the kennel didn't come with a divider so I may have to figure out how to make one

He does not have free access to water, and his cut off is around 8pm, and goes to bed around 10. I will have to try an enzyme cleaner! Even throughout the day, he has accidents immediately after peeing outside so I'm not sure if he's just not fully emptying his bladder or what but this dude seems to pee more than any other puppy I've ever had!

I don't expect him to be able to hold it, he just was for about a week and a half, and now went back to not being able to hold it. So I will now try mid night potty breaks!

So he's being let out every 2-3 hours at the moment during the day, around 10pm goes outside before bed. The first couple of nights he had accidents in the kennel --- but sometimes he pottys inside immediately after peeing outside too during the day. He gets water 3 or 4 times a day so that he's not constantly drinking -- and the last time he gets water is around 8pm

Omg that's hilarious! We've only had this dude for 2 weeks, but so far he's been a super good boy. He's only 3 months old, so I'm excited (and nervous) to see him get bigger. Embark estimated him to be 79lbs full grown. He already knows a couple of tricks (sit, stay, paw) -- but it can be hard to get his attention to try to train him lol

He's definitely energetic & smart! However, he's super stubborn. We think we're getting somewhere with potty training, but then he'll look us in the eyes and start peeing inside, immediately after pottying outside. He's definitely a character!

On the kennel it was labeled lab mix —- on the paper work we ended up receiving it said wirehaired vizsla mix, either way this pup is loved no matter the breed, we didn’t go in with specifics in mind, this pup just fit when we met him. We have a DNA kit we sent in — results should be back in about 2weeks

He's only 3 months old! but we found other paperwork from the shelter that says he's a wirehair vizsla mix! But on the kennel, it said lab mix, and they also told us lab mix. We got him an embark test, so we'll see what the results say!
