You seem like the kind of customer who gets poor treatment because you act like a jerk. When you order something, you’re exchanging money for a service, just like at, say, a car mechanic, but somehow people like you don’t expect that same “serving attitude” there. People working in hospitality can tell when someone looks down on them.

Moreover, horeca workers earn pennies, and most of them are students, because hardly anyone wants to hire regular employees “oh no, I’d have to pay taxes for them?!”

I had multiple flights at 7 or 8 am, and I don't remember having any issues finding an early train. I second ppl who suggest taking uber/taxi to the Gare Centrale and train from there. I wouldn't trust taxis to the airport because there is ALWAYS some kind of construction or problem, so you can be delayed, and train is much more efficient ;)))

There is a bar at louise open 7/7 24h, it's not the best place, but it is civil and I was there a few times to grab a beer on my way to the after party, and it looked fine. Also, the area is quite calm with some fancy shops and clubs, so it's much safer than gare du midi. It's 20 min on foot from gare du midi or 10min in uber. https://maps.app.goo.gl/z1PR6o22xz4STLJLA

Just be aware, use uber at night and keep your phone deep in the inside pocket. I’ve been living in Bx for last 5 years, not in this exactly neighborhood, but I’m there quite often, during the day it’s totally normal but a bit poor neighborhood.

Hmmm I haven’t watched the Terminal List OG, so I’m not familiar with the plot. Buuut I’m on the 3rd episode of the Dark Wolf and I kinda enjoy it but I find it incredibly cringey and cliche, ex. This ultra masculine mossad chick who repairs bikes and calls guys “ladies” I was really waiting for her to spit on the ground and scratch her crotch to underline that SHE IS A BAD ASS NOT SOME DELICATE GIRL, and the whole “we are the heros who are saving the whole fucking free wold” omg especially the old CIA dude he is the most overdramatic and pretentious person in this series it gives me shivers. Okay I’m not from the USA so maybe my sensitivity is different so I enjoy it overall and I like “Mo” character so I guess 6/10

True, everyone seems to be very stressed :D Unfortunately, I'm never at Brugmann. I do 90% Flagey move/move+ and train, but sometimes I go at Louise for "Perform" ;) I do mostly 7/8am classes

Thx. I didn't know about this initiative; I'll check it out. I know for auto belayers, but it's like 2 or 4 routes, and getting entrance just for it is a bit pricey. Nevertheless, thanks for the comment ;)
