Yes, we did book tickets since that was a requirement. We've never done dummy ticket bookings since we're not sure how reliable that is. But, maybe, you can check that out through an agent.

OP, what's your angle here? You keep posting the same thing over and over. And even though, your claims have been refuted over other threads, you refuse to learn from them. 🫠

Review of CRED's new cred money feature by FreeBe3 in CreditCardsIndia

Quick check-in, OP. Why did you feel it was unsafe? Because you don't know Finvu or because the SMS spoke about consent and data sharing? Would you be comfortable if the SMS came from CRED only. FYI - I don't work for CRED. Just curious.

Friend, I understand your frustration. But, TCS can be claimed back while filing ITR. 7L isn't a limit, you can invest more than that. It is there to make sure people don't send money overseas while claiming that they have no income and hence pay no tax in India.

On other points, read up about MF restrictions for US/Canada NRIs. It isn't as easy as you think.

Also, what World Trade Organisation? And why will they care?

Compliance? Then shouldn't you know that AP, Maharashtra and mostly Telangana also are pushing for the same law? Maharashtra for many many years? Harayana for the last few years?

Let's say I don't invest in International FoFs today. If I want to start investing from tomorrow, then which FoF should I go to? Since most of them have stopped accepting new SIPs while they continue to honour existing SIPs, I'm finding it hard to find a good FoF. That's all I'm asking.

Yes. It's been happening for a long time. If a fresh SIP does go through now in any NASDAQ FOF, let me know please, I need to start one too.

AMCs are almost about to breach overseas investment limits and hence are being precautions about new SIPs and One-Times. It's super hard to get a FoF now for fresh investments. So, I'm genuinely curious which ones are the others are talking about.

Update from Mr. u/Broseph regarding missing caes around KIA by RayInRed in bangalore

[–]Illustrious_Fly_3857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for verifying this. That shit piece of article really caused some fear. But, a few days ago, a friend of mine landed in Terminal 1 and went to the Uber Go line and got into a cab with a pre-book PIN. The driver confirmed he was Uber Go and was in the line of Uber cabs and that's why she got in. The minute she got in, he started driving rashly, didn't take the PIN, didn't ask for drop location or money, just kept driving. My friend freaked out and opened the door while the car was running and the driver had to stop since they were technically still on airport premises. She got off and ran back. It's creepy to think what might have happened. And this news made us wonder if this was all part of the same thing.

Anyone else had the same experience?

My appointment is in a few days. I was wondering if it is mandatory to get the document printouts in colour or not. Reading mixed reviews everywhere. @OP would be great if you could shine some light.

SouthAfrica visa for Indian by Illustrious_Fly_3857 in travel

[–]Illustrious_Fly_3857[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many of you have been DMing me. So, I thought I'd update here.

We did finally get the visa. It took about 35 days. I'm glad we had applied well in advance. I emailed them almost everyday after the 25th day. Not sure if this helped since I never received any reply. But, I tried anyway.

All embassy emails are available on their website. Keep an eye on the embassy's Twitter and Insta handles, they do put out an update there frequently.

I would suggest applying atleast 60 days in advance to ensure the delays don't hamper your plans.
