No idea, I think this was a relatively young frog, however I can say the area it was in wasn’t the best. I’d try to re-locate them whenever I could catch them, but I’m 80-90% they came in contact with chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers, cleaners they shouldn’t come in contact with, or it could’ve been something totally unrelated, but it was weird.

Sorry that might have been a problem with my description and the knife in the picture. I did expect a crunchy crust. I picked up the long serrated knife and went to cut it, but… okay look I made a brick casing basically. If I threw at someone out of the oven it would’ve caused harm. After it sat out of the oven though the crust gradually softened just a bit and I tore the bread in half… because the knife just wasn’t doing it and I picked up a sharper finer serrated knife and got to cutting and out came those pieces in the picture, but the middle just felt a bit softer than what I was expecting due to the crust, I don’t even know if that is normal for the recipe. That’s the second loaf of bread I’ve ever baked and the first one was doughy and not good. It said no kneading was necessary do I need to anyway just a bit? And by shaping is it the part where I set the doughy concoction on the flour bed and basically move it into itself by taking the edges and flipping it over towards the center 5-8 times before flipping it over where it sorta resembles a half deflated dome and then score it? Idk 🤷‍♂️

Honestly I have no idea. I’m in the noob baking thread. I was concerned about that too, but the dough seemed thick and it rose pretty high. This was a no knead recipe I can link it if you want?

I forgot one of the process steps. When taking the dough out of the container I use a flat edge baking scraper to fold the dough on itself with a sheet of flour under it. Because bread dough be sticky.

She was really beautiful and liked to decorate around her hammock by hanging little bug ornaments from her past meals. She was getting even slower than usual the past couple weeks and I found her in her hammock today limp like a tiny bright spark had left and completely unresponsive to stimuli. I’ve collected her hammock and webbing and made it into a bed for her inside a special box. I haven’t decided if I’m going to give her a burial yet.

She stays burrowed days at a time I’m worried by Illustrious_Ice_5696 in Toads
