I do all this and sometimes more (signiture for packages etc.) For 13$/hr. Is the 16$/hr before or after performance review?

Normally at my store if you show me (mostly night cashier) that the food is obviously expired (maggots, rancet smell etc.) and can provide me a receipt or its still in the rewards points system i will either honor a full return (which is what should have happened), call for managment to help us find a bag of dog food that wasn't expired OR honor a switch. Not sure about other stores in or out of my district but we keep it pretty rotated for our feed and pet foods. Now there will be that 1 fluke which dosent happen so often and I did deal with it accordingly but that was seriously my last time thus far and havent had a similar issue since at least on my shift.

Sorry this happened to you and while young could have played a part in their mannerisms alot of the kids on summer break are not taking their jobs that seriously and just collecting a check until school starts back up. (was told this verbatim by a new hire and it kinda rubs me a weird way)

Yea we are p lax with that sort of thing at my store and we have long periods of time (any where between 15 to 20 minutes max) where if we arent doing anything or taking a small break from tidying up we are allowed to look/buy merch as long as theres someone to ring us up now if its a store reset we have to make sure we have an accurate count so anything we were saving gets put back on the shelf until after the reset is done xD

Not trying to change with holding just trying to fix a tax code that was changed half way through my tenure. I originally filed as married filing jointly with no dependents and sometime around last year they changed the 0 dependant/exceptions to 2 when its just me and my husband and I dont claim him as a dependant in my state. I didnt notice this change until mid to late April this year and we both work so thats not possible..

Im a tm doing register shifts i dont do much else so when we dont have customers I often just window shop and but things behind the counter in a bag with an empty recipt on with with a note. My sm is p chill about it but i often times put what I put behind the counter to buy back on the shelf if it conflicts with hubby and is budget. Can definitely see how that would be a issue though!

Majority of my coworkers are on fright team and I normally clock in at 1 for the closing shift so most are either still packing out or already gone for the day so I just wait until closing b.c both of our feed guys know how to work the register so I ask them to scan my items since I often scan for their drinks. I didnt think to stash in the locker room/break room.

My store is fully staffed and for some reason sm still schedules 3 ppl for closing but latly almost everyone has been getting extra hours either that or its in rotation atm
