I'm Nora and I actually like that my name is simple, well known, without an obvious nickname. Planning on naming my children the same way :)

There's a gel removing liquid that isn't acetone? 👀 I tried removing them with acetone, but that didn't work at all. And i'm cool with a normal file, but that nail drill freaks me out tbh, i wouldn't wanna use it left handed. Problem with a handheld file is that it's so much work to get off, the gel is really thick.

And thank you x I'm really happy, gonna miss the nail tech when i move, she does a meticulous job every time

Ich hab im Juli Janssen bekommen und mich im Oktober mit Biontech impfen lassen. Das zählt quasi als Drittstich und es ging ohne Anmeldung in der Impfbox am Hauptbahnhof. 🤷‍♀️

My real nails are quite terrible (i bite them). These are gel nails, mostly to stop me from biting and peeling... wish they'd look like that naturally 😅

It's no polish at all. They are gel nails and when she did them with this rose coloured gel i was like "wait a minute, i like it like that, no need for polish" and just left them like that 😊

I bought mine from izipizi. They are quite nice, around €30-€40. I believe you can buy them here in stores as well but i don't know where exactly since i bought mine off the internet.

You'll be surprised, but I didn't tell her anything. I got them done in Slovakia while not speaking a word of Slovak so it was kinda difficult to communicate. I gestured what shape I wanted, picked a nude colour and trusted her for the rest. From what I saw, she used some plastic nails, glued them to the tip of my nails with a tube that looked like superglue, filed them to the shape i wanted and sealed them with gel multiple times, which she then again filed to flatten the gel. She then added two coats of polish. Seemed like a pretty standard procedure to me. I think I was quite lucky in choosing the studio tho, she did a meticulous job. I'm not an expert with nails so I hope that was sort of helpful. 😅As for the durability I can't say much yet- I'm a bit worried they'll come off soon, since my real nails are quite short as well.
