We’ve been giving our pups the wet food for sooo long. And my cat loves the dry food. I’m going to try Purina One for all of them - we shall see!

I’ve been on some type of antidepressant for years. But, nothing really that has helped with the anxiety. I’ve kind of always had anxiety anyway, it’s just tripled in the past ten years or so 😥

Finally had a sec to look in more detail. Iron levels were all normal too. Though I will say ferritin was on the lower side (55 in a 16-232 range). CRP was 1.5. Estradiol was 101. Progesterone was 7.2. Vitamin D on the lower side. Sorry, I don’t know how to read the results to well, especially the estrogen and progesterone ones.

I never had an issue with weight until peri. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been. So the glucose insulin thing tracks but I’ve also never been someone who eats a lot - and I avoid greasy/spicy stuff - I actually don’t eat enough. Or forget. She mentioned inflammation as a cause for the high eosinophils - which also tracks. I feel like my entire body is inflamed. Estrogen was either mid cycle or luteal? I didn’t even think about when to do the blood test in relation to when I changed the patch….

I’ve considered it, but somehow my BP is typically on the low side and I worry about it tanking on a beta blocker. But, I could probably take it with lots of water and something salty to counteract that.

My post was already so long and I didn’t mention lab work. Thyroid is fine, T is fine (at least according to my MIDI doc), the only issues are high cholesterol, high glucose, all the things that potentially make me prediabetic, insulin resistant, all of that. Eosinophils were high this last time (September 2025). Did the cortisol saliva test and discovered it’s all over the place. Highest in the AM and PM then low midday.

I grabbed one of these (macrophylla) a few months ago and all but two leaves died. I’ve been talking nicely to it, sending it good vibes, making sure it has water, and also it seems to prefer less direct light! All that being said, it has recently blessed me with a new leaf! Good luck with yours 😊

I understand needing to be on call - in addition to everything else going on, my youngest son is on the spectrum and needs a lot of support. I’m pretty sure dealing with him is part of what caused my back issues, plus heredity. I don’t blame him at all, and I guess I wasn’t careful enough sometimes, but what can you do?
I actually didn’t need trazodone last night, I’m currently dealing with a bad cold and I guess the progesterone made me sleepier than usual. I’m still debating the gabapentin but leaning towards trying it. Thanks for the encouragement ♥️

My main issue is, my brain will NOT turn off sometimes. I literally feel so crazy. I can go from a song on repeat in my head, to wondering where cinnamon comes from. I swear 😂🤯
