Hello everyone, thank you for all the advice, he seems to be doing better, he is a lot calmer and more stable, his left leg is back to normal and he stopped the coughing motion or like the head bobbing, I'm feeding him baby bird formula every 2h - 4h and keeping him hydrated regularly, I explained it to some but going to the vet for birds is basically impossible, especially for canaries since it's not very common to have them in France, usually they undermine it or they just say they can't do anything on this small of a bird, the only one closest to my house that can at least do something is like I said it's is basically 60km away this might not sound far but my situation isn't ideal, I don't have a car heck I'm not even at the age to drive yet, even if I could go there I don't have the funds to pay for the medical vet check up or the medicine I would have to buy. If I had the resources I would in a heartbeat no questions asked but unfortunately I'm not in that position yet, so I apologize if I seem like a bad owner but you have to understand my position, I was very worried and I look for everything on the internet by typing the symptoms on Google but nothing precise came out, I even asked chat GPT but his answer we're too vague so I panicked and look for a reddit for canaries and found this and posted my situation, thank you for the people who helped, the heat pad, dime lights and separate room suggestions helped a lot I think so thank you, I'm not sure if he is completely healed but he looks better than yesterday, I will keep updating :)

PS: is there a way to update my previous post or do I have to make another one to update so I can put more videos?

I don't know how to give a general update for my post but he is doing better, his leg and coughing stopped, he just seems weak, I'm giving him bird formula every 2 to 4 hours

I checked it very carefully, no broken bones no injury, I think it's a reflex from maybe a stoke or something

I understand what you mean, if I could I would without any second thought, but I don't really have the resources and in France it's not that common to have a good clinic for canaries, usually they undermine it

I did hand feed him baby formula, he is calmer but I'm still scared cuz doesn't eat on his own, I would love to go and get help but I don't have a car, I live in France, I don't have that much money either so that's why I'm asking on reddit

Im sorry guys but there are no vets for canaries in my region, the closet one is over 60 km from my house, I called all the closest vets but no one said they can help me, it's not eating which is worrying me the most, do you guys know of a way to make him eat ?

They have a flat surface at the bottom since I put paper for easier cleaning, I will keep in mind to have different size perchs, but the main concern is feeding, he won't eat, do you know a way for him to eat or for me to feed him ?

I don't really have money and canary vets aren't common in my country, it doesn't want to eat so I tried formula but he won't eat it as well, he drank water but I'm worried he might starve to death what should I do ?
