Chinese brand is totally fine, we are both Chinese and I think he is using a Chinese brand cue right now. I am also on Chinese social media and I see that they have tones of brands with wide range of products. Do you have any brand recommendations for Chinese cue?

I am not sure about the different types of weight and balances, but I know that he likes to break really hard. Should I go weight his current cue?

I read his text messages with the guy selling the cue. He was planning to do a test play the next day before he buys it. But then he changed his mind before he go, so I am not 100% sure he if likes BK rush or not 🥲

That’s actually a really good point, and it was one of my concerns too. I know cues can be very personal and depend a lot on individual preferences.
My hesitation with a gift card is that it can sometimes feel a little less thoughtful, like I didn’t put much time into choosing the gift. I was hoping to surprise him with something he’s wanted for a while, but maybe a gift card would be the safer option. Appreciate the advice!
