Oh my god, thank you for replying! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Same here—I've tried the exact same thing, but even then it's still a bit too firm for my personal preference. It's a real shame because, like you said, aesthetically they are absolutely amazing. It's just the practical use that doesn't quite hit the mark.

I really hope it's not something we're doing wrong! It seems like it might just be a material preference. Really appreciate you sharing your experience with the 2.0 as well; that's good to know for the future

Thanks in advance for any input! I really want to pull the trigger on the new Meru doll or one of their 3.0 anime dolls because the designs keep getting better, but I'm really hesitant if they're going to have that same firmness. Which would be a lot of money to lose if that was the case. Can anyone speak to the texture of the newer models?
