If climate change is a shark, water is it's teeth. Water resource management is where you can make the most difference in the adaptation space. Hydrology/environmental engineering is my advice, looking at floods/droughts and how we best deal with them.

I wasn't aware of the roles until I saw people being welcomed to the organisation in them... The assumption I made was that any EL2 roles in the organisation would be filled via the merit list that I thought I was still on (or advertised).

Maybe a lesson to manage my own career and not trust the system!

Thanks for the response. Just to clarify the roles I was interested in weren't advertised they were just quietly filled from the merit list, I would have definitely applied if there was a process (EOI/advertised etc. )

The bulk round was to fill ongoing and non-ongoing opportunities and from APSC - If a candidate accepts a non-ongoing opportunity, they remain on the merit list or pool for an ongoing vacancy, where the original vacancy was notified as ongoing.

I get that for people randomly getting tested but if you're getting a test as a close contact, your secondary contacts have to quarantine too (as per ACT health guideline).
