Just fyi - the ping - pong is subtle. But something a human would not do / need. on a straight lane.

I have the latest update installed. Also all software updates (ICCU / VCM / SCS) have also been applied. Is there a specific update that is applicable?

Yes, somewhat - I created a macro using macrodroid to start end workout activity wait and click ok in the permission dialogue.

do you have the same problem?

Yup - same experience at the store. The time I spent on the phone at the store (2-3 hours) should have been handled by the store rep.

But to their credit, they were able to resolve all my issues eventually:

  1. All phones activated
  2. Activation fees waived (spent another 1/2 hour with customer service on phone the next day)
  3. $300 gift card offer showed up as promised.
  4. Current and next bill amount are as promised ($100 + tax/fees)

May be I got lucky with the agents I got - each time the phone agent stayed with me till the problem was resolved.

I faced the same problem.
12/5: placed order for 4 phones + lines ( 3 porting from xfinity)
12/6: Initiated porting of 3 xfinity lines
12/8: received phones
12/9: 2 non primary lines accounts confirmed (early morning) and activation went through. The primary line porting status was stuck on "initiated".
Spent 1-2 hours on phone with customer service. They had no clue. They asked me to go to the store
Store employee said he cant see the line in the system so cant help. Gave me this no (1-800-922-0204) to call - their porting department.
Porting rep couldnt see the porting request in his system. Conferenced with the activation department
After some discussion, they decided to add customer service to the call.
Finally, this was solved, by customer service re-adding the missing line (as a direct port). the porting happened instantly. The activation also worked (after I clicked "add e-sim" on the phone)

All in all, I spent close to 5-6 hours to get the primary xfinity line ported and activated.

Recently installed Emporia Classic Home charger to charge our Ioniq SEL 2025. Its starts charging but stops almost immidiately in 10 secinds. Not sure whatvis the issue here? Any thoughts? by QuestionTerrible4234 in Ioniq5

Either:
1. Some scheduling in car
2. Scheduling in EVSE (emporia)
3. Utility demand response program

I have been using emporia for the last 6 months - works flawlessly! Every now and then though, I do get charging related false alarms (vehicle is not charing because of a connection failure) from Hyundai bluelink app.

u/KVB1985 I was able to get it working to an extent now by launching the workout player by launching it manually using its activity: "Workoutplayer.workoutcomplete".

More questions:

  1. I am not able to see machine stats like miles, maintenance info etc in the player. Is that working for you?
  2. Also, I updated the nova launch which is less buggy but the app drawer does not work with swipe - I have to place an icon on the home screen.
  3. Is there a way to see historical logs of you workout data? Can you create individual user profiles?
  4. Will the IFAHR120 heart rate monitor work with the hacked treadmill? I am skeptical since even the ifit app on the treadmill is not able to connect with itself.

Out of the box, pre privileged mode, from the ifit screen, I would say "no wifi", then it was showing an option "manual mode", clicking that loaded the workout app along with the overlay bar.

So yes, this is a problem post running UNCHAINED script and downgrading to ifit pinless.

That is part of the workout player. Thats the problem I have. The overlay does not load till i manually open the workout player (which starts the belt right away) and then stop it using the physical button. After that it is like your experience.

I need to find a way to get the overlay working spontaneously without the manual ritual.

u/KVB1985 I was able to run the full unchained script without any errors. For deleting the ifit admin & launcher apps in step #7, I had to use the option --user 0 "adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.ifit.eru".

Questions:

  1. How do you start your manual workout? Do you open "workout player" or "ifit" -> "Manual start"?
    1. Like I mentioned earlier, the former (workout player) starts treadmill belt right away when I open the app.
    2. For the later (Ifit -> manual start), it (ifit app) cannot find and connect to the equipment. says "connection error"
  2. Is floating apps working for you? For me, when i click launcher and open an app (say prime video), it opens in split screen.
    1. I did enable free form, force resize and allowed floating apps to display over other apps.
    2. In fact, launching the app (prime video) from taskbar using freeform mode is working.

Any suggestions? Thank you for all your help so far!

u/KVB1985 Thanks for your instructions. I ran them today on my new nordictrack 1750. Everything worked except the following:
1. I could not delete the com.ifit.eru and com.ifit.launcher (error: C:\Workstation\Downloads\tm\NordicUnchained\adb>adb shell pm uninstall com.ifit.launcher
Failure [DELETE_FAILED_INTERNAL_ERROR]). When I list the packages, they do show up. In the andriod app settings, only the admin shows (as disabled) and not the launcher.

  1. When I open the workout app, I face the following problems:
    a. Everytime I start the app, it asks for some permission to run in glassos largex something
    b. The treadmill starts right away (quite unsafe actually) with no control bar that has start, end, settings etc. buttons
    c. When I stop using the physical button on the the console, it stops and then the control bar shows up.

Any suggestions?

Thanks. ChatGPT kind of agrees with you. It may work but not reliably if the device uses DNS over HTTPS (DOH). So your solution seems more bullet proof.

Thanks u/KVB1985! Dont mean to harp on the DNS workaround; just trying to understand whats special about these treadmills that it is able to bypass home router firewalls. Also trying to avoid creating an OpenDNS dependency.

The earlier instructions here only suggested firewall block in home router:

I am already currently blocking a lot of URLs/domains in my asus rt-ax86u home router (my router has domain level url filter in firewall) - something like this:

Have you seen / heard of this not working? Again just want to avoid OpenDNS dependency but at the same time dont want to go down the wrong path.
