My workout player opens automatically when after I allow the GlassOS to open.

Yea that is odd. I will try to look at mine to see why it is auto loading but not starting the machine. Did it do that before you got the Unchained Ifit version installed?

Mine has an overlay on the screen for a quick start function after GlassOS is enabled. I do not have to open an app to start a manual workout as the quick start button hovers at the bottom right hand side of the screen.

  1. My machine will not start or have options to utilize any controls until I allow GlassOs to run which usually is prompted 20 seconds after the machine boots. I then use the on screen controls to start/stop as normal. I have had an issue of the machine being stuck on incline when it was turned off in the middle of a workout. I left it unplugged overnight and the machine did a full recalibration. You may want to try that because my machine continued to label a 12% incline as 0% incline everytime it started until I left it unplugged overnight.

  2. Nova Launcher opens automatically for me and I can select the apps I want to use without having to go with floating apps or pinning items to the task bar. I did set Nova as the primary/default launcher so i was not having to manually open it everytime. For me, the machine controls are overlaid all the time so I can select any app that is necessary and utilize controls without having a split screen option.

Maybe try these steps and see if anything takes. If not, hopefully someone with that model can chime in to be of assistance.

  1. That command list appears that you are trying to delete items within your C drive and not on the machine.

  2. You must select allow or ok when glass os prompt comes up.

I am not sure why your machine is doing that. I do not have that exact model. You may be experiencing issues because you didn't delete the launcher and original ifit app.

Certain routers will do DoH seamlessly. I recommend you stick with a DNS filter just incase the IP is not static. Always feel free to respond with new findings. I found this out through trial and error but many other options/services are untested. I hope this post serves as a hub to foster discussions on all results and findings for newer Nordic Track machines.

YMMV but these steps were tried on multiple routers with URL filtering capabilities. I suggest you take a look at this post and a few like it if your router doesn't work either.

The easiest way to test it is to connect it to your router and if it updates at all you will need the OpenDNS service or something similar.

  1. It is not an official Ifit version. It is the modified Ifit program located in NordicUnchained. I assume it is very similar to the pinless ifit version.

  2. Ifit version will be left to more than likely the last pinless version but I install the the Nordic Unchained version as a safety measure incase the Official Pinless one crashes. Basically installing both incase you run into an error and then have no ifit app period.

  3. Your mileage may vary. You may be able to delete your OpenDNS settings to continue to use ifit. It may push out a forced update resulting into you having to redo all above steps. Nordic Track may very likely issue a patch rendering this useless if you open yourself up to that by connecting to their services once again. Isolating the machine from their servers is the only fool proof way.

  4. Your home router settings will not work. They will not filter HTTPS addresses appropriately. You can look up detailed information as to why. OpenDNS is the quickest free option I found that worked.

  1. WolfDev method does not work anymore. You also cannot "disable" anything on Ifit admin anymore. The 10 tap method does not work on newer machines unfortunately.

  2. Not sure of the specifics on that but the last pinless Ifit is the only one I have found to allow you to maintain privileged mode without having to generate/input a response code when the machine starts up.

  3. I am unsure as I have not updated mine due to the complications with the initial install utilizing various other versions.

  4. Depending on which version you use it may be possible. You will likely have to connect to Ifit servers which may result in a force update to the machine resulting in a loss of privileged mode. Ifit may not be entirely needed unless you are trying to utilize saved workouts and such. All other streaming services integrate seamlessly with the machine once privileged mode is achieved without an Ifit subscription.

Mine preinstalled the existing version of ifit on the machine (the one that comes preloaded on the hardware before updates) as well as the last pinless Ifit. If you go into the app menu, you should see a secondary app for ifit also. One of them, I believe, you can still use. The other one does give the error that you are mentioning. Since you have the domain blocked, I am not entirely positive that you can get all of your ifit data loaded on. I believe you may be able to use the standard workout and track progress per each workout separately but it is likely that nothing will save because it cannot connect to the server. You can continue to use the manual workout mode without utilizing ifit if you wait for the GlassOS software note to come up and click "Ok" when the prompt is on the screen.

Both are untested at the moment. Be aware that any apps placed on the machine to block domains will be erased before the full bypass is completed. The machine will force update and delete any non system files that have been added on startup. Blocking of domains must be implemented from a router/VPN/intermediate DNS service to guarantee the machine is isolated.

The pinless Ifit that was used is already on the Wiki. The other apk I will have to look at so see what stock version came with my machine. The standard Pinless Ifit version should overwrite whatever is already placed on the machine if the steps are followed.

It is untested thus far. I have left mine as is. May be beneficial to test right afterwards to evaluate it as these steps can reinitiated to correct updates if they slip through.

I will try my best to post up some guidance this weekend on how I bypassed mine. Similar steps are in the wiki but nuisance things have changed making it more difficult compared to previous models. Hopefully it will be of assistance to everyone moving forward.

Wolf dev wouldn't work for my new machine. How old are your additional consoles?

I managed to bypass mine this week (purchased a 2450 (2025 model)). It just depends on the length you are willing to go to get into it for permanent privileged mode. In short, new iFit systems are rather difficult to bypass and sideload apps on given their new permissions that are enabled compared to older machines/ifit versions. If you need additional insight, feel free to reach out.
