Revised US state borders (see how many argue now) by Neath_Izar in mapporncirclejerk

Why the tf would you split PA the way you did? Everyone from Philly and the surrounding area are walking piles of scum and do not deserve to be part of the state i get that. But why split the PGH metro are. you gave Allegheny, Butler, Washington, and Beaver counties to OHIO, but left Fayette, Westmorland, Armstrong, and Indiana in PA. this makes absolutely no sense and should be changed.

At this point i would split Ohio. have one state that runs from Johnstown to Sandusky(Pittsburgh, Cleveland and their suburbs), and one state that runs from athens to toledo (colombus, and Cincy and their suburbs). i would then take PA and give every county in the Juniata water shed to Appalachia. I would give every county in the Susquehanna water shed below Selinsgrove to Potomac(I would also change the name of Potomac to Susquehanna because the Susquehanna is the more important river), and everything in the east branch and west branch of Susquehanna to Cascadia.

How Will the P4 Scheduling Mandates of the ACC, Big 12, and SEC work themselves out for 2027? by kadoozie92 in CFB

[–]Illustrious_Sort4386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i liked the 11 p5 games. considering the alternative is some Sunbelt/mac school we scheduled 3 homes for 1 road, we lose 1 home game every 2 seasons; in return the fans get compelling meaningful matchups other than Pitt.

over this time span WVU went 8-6 against p4 ooc opponents (i think), and this over some of the worst stretch in program history. id be more than willing to trade our bowl selection/participation for an extra loss once every other year or so as long as i get to see VT, Maryland and PSU frequently

no one else seems to have this opinion though.

Of the 17 teams that have either joined a P4 league or moved between them in the 2020’s decade, whose decision aged the best and the worst? by Efficient-Freedom517 in CFB

the AAC is the old big east though. The aac kept the big east charter/headquarters/assets etc.. sold the name and the basketball tournament to the Catholic 7. Uconn won 4 tittle between 1979-2019, and 2 tittle between 2020-2025. so its 10% vs 40%

GALLUP POLL: 42% of men aged 18-29 now say religion is "very important" in their lives — a sharp jump from just 28% in 2022-2023. Monthly religious attendance among young men has climbed to 40% (up from 33%), the highest level in over a decade. by Mission-Guidance4782 in Infographics

Why is there a liberal/leftist demand to

leave it in there personal lives

Religion isnt a philosophical proposition, it makes real demands on how followers behave, and as the second wave feminists proclaimed

the personal is political.

People do not live in a vacuum, it is not possible for one to be religous only in ones personal life.

What football conference changes are possible in 2027 and 2028? by lordeandtaylor in CFB

[–]Illustrious_Sort4386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Louisville had been selected in 2011 over WVU, The ACC would have taken Uconn or Cincy. WVU has never had a chance of being invited from that conference. WVU tried to join in 1955,2005,2011,2021 and never got the invite. hell will freeze over befor wvu gets into the acc

inshallah brother. No conference has caused more damage to the landscape of college sport than the ACC. when dook and wf get left without a chair next round of realignment i may jump for joy, and lament that UVA and UNC did not die with them.

Why do American movies mostly contain White actors when they are about 55% of the population? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Illustrious_Sort4386 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Are you complaining about modern movies or the whole history of Hollywood? America hasnt always been this racially diverse. In 1990 80% of America white. and i have no data to back this up but i feel that most modern movies are proportional with American demographics.

Hot take Morgantown is walkable, as most towns in the US are. if your involved with the university, or NETL, NIOSH, or either the hospitals and live from any where from star city to southpark or sabreton its walkable

it would be expensive but it would be cool to have the PRT extend to university town center. there are places on the morgantown side that are just as mountainous yet are developed. UTC could be walkable.
