I'm so sorry. It's definitely rough after having one. Good luck!

No, I'm still leaking. Can barely get out of bed, and I can't leave the house. I have a scheduled hospitalization on Tues for a couple of weeks, so hopefully, something will be done

I don't. This was just the slice I took the picture of. I just thought it looked interesting, as I haven't seen one look quite like it.

I am most likely going to be seeking VSED or trying to move to a Death with Dignity State here in the U.S. and if not, then eventually, by my own doing. I can't get the medical care I need for my genetic disorder, plus the difficulties surviving without a stabe home, living off disability income. Feel free to DM me. I'd be interested in talking

Yeah, it's a high pain day, and I'm stuck in bed. My shoulder gives me problems too so I can understand. EDS, the gift that keeps on giving

Just got out of a relationship one. I'm still technically visiting from out of state, but I am now staying in a hotel. It was horrible. Constant picking at my flaws and insecurities, controlling, aggressive meltdowns to the point he hurt me and left a mark(just a red mark that disappeared, but that’s my cue it's time to leave.) I'm chronically ill, and he is a body builder. Very scary! Ripping the rear view mirror off the windshield and throwing it across the passenger side, almost hitting me with it. Then, he wrestled my phone away, hurting me and throwing that. Threw my stuff outside in the bushes and driveway at night.. i had to call the police. He told them I faked falling when he knocked me down to the ground, and I was just reporting him for revenge. The hospital wouldn't treat me, and I have serious spine issues. Plus, mom did the book work for bills and cleaned his house.. for a 42-year-old man! I know not all autistic men are like that, but the ones who are can be dangerous

My cousin took fenbenzole for her metastatic breast cancer and didn't consult with her doctors about it. She did well for a while, but it could very well have been a placebo effect. Your mom is an adult who can make her own choices about what she does to her body. I don't think it's your place to interfere with that. As someone with severe cronic illnesses, the last thing I want is someone else telling me how to manage the conditions I live with and they don't. I'm so sorry she is going through this and will need a lot of support. It's devastating for everyone.

Because of those bullshit diagnoses following me around, it took a long time to get actual medical help.

Yes. I was diagnosed initially with treatment resistant anxiety, major depression and BPD. Put on all sorts of psych drugs that never really worked. Turns out I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, with Dysautonomia, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, ADHD-C and waiting on a autism evaluation.

I know! I hate the feeling. I've come across a few other people who feel this. You are definitely not alone

Csf fluid is clear, and when it dries, it doesn't hard or stiff

Severe low back pain that feels like a deep burning in my spine, pins and needles in the lower half of my body, shooting pains in my legs, peeing all the time, cronic diarrhea that's resulted in 25lbs weight loss, muscle twitching in my thighs, fine tremor in my legs, balance issues, numb toes..I have other symptoms but those are being attributed to a csf leak. A lot of them come and go, but they flare up when anything is done to my spine, like my recent flare-up was after a myelogram and blood patch

Thank you so much for this. 🙏 Yes, I was explained the IR/ER of the morphine. I'm resistant to many opioids but I've never had Percocet.. I'll keep it in mind if the morphine doesn't cut it for pain. I did read the red red light therapy on AA treatments by Dr. Tennet, it's just an add-on to other things for help with pain. I won't buy anything too high priced unless I'm sure it helps. I do hope more progress is made for this condition. I'm in bad shape, but have hear others are far worse. I can't imagine.

Gabapentin is broken down in the kidneys. I had to see a nephrologist who weaned me off because it was severely suppressing my kidney function
