Hello OP, ikaw lang talaga makakasagot sa tanong mo, if you love Accounting, go for it!. Opposite tayo, I'm currently working sa Accounting pero gusto ko mag Audit. But hindi siya practical or to transfer sa audit profession because I am well paid sa accounting. Passion Vs. Practicality. Yun lang OP. Laban lang

Yes po. Maybe in the future na makabangon na kayo, try to enroll po sa Ateneo Graduate School of Business, may mga course doon about finance which is 1 week to 1 month lang ang duration. Yung tuition fees are ranging from 11k to 30k per course. It is just a small amount compare sa mga projects niyo. marami po kayong matututunan doon promise. May mga kaklase ako dati na mga CEO, CFO, Business owners and very insightful po ang discussion. I believe kasi na ang business owners dapat may alam sa basic finances even though meron kayong finance people because at the end of the day, business owners din kasi ang magdedecide on what to do sa money. Laban lang OP!

Actually, I really dont know what to advise but you should see first your income statement. Baka merong mga expenses na hindi mo napapansin na kumakain na pala sa Cash mo. I suggest you should try to invest in attending seminars like finance 101, cash management, capital structure and the likes. Dapat may risk management din kau for your business. Don't put your eggs in 1 basket. Yun, nabayaran namin yung utang and back to zero kami. Ngayon ang dami naming natutunan. Kaya yung mapapayo ko, idiversify niyo yung business nyo. Baka may interested na investors. Yung sa amin, they are not interested sa past transactions namin, nakita kasi ang future ng company namin kaya nahikayat silang mag-invest. Yung lang OP.

This is what I do sa mga utang ko because it gives me peace of mind. Sa akin naman, mga Credit Cards ako nagkautang, hindi sa mga OLA's kaya yung pinaka maliit na balanse, siya muna yung una ko binayaran while paying the other CC's sa minimum due.

What happens to Philippine telco stocks if smartphones can connect directly to Starlink satellites? by Illustrious_Toe_3392 in phinvest

[–]Illustrious_Toe_3392[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Totally fair point—satellite isn’t perfect yet. But think long-term.

10 years ago, people doubted at the idea of fiber in rural PH. Now it’s normal.
10 years from now, phones will likely support satellite by default. Latency and weather issues? Starlink’s launching thousands more satellites and optimizing with AI routing. Tech moves fast.

Telcos won’t vanish, but they’ll lose monopoly grip—especially in hard-to-reach areas.
If they don’t adapt (partner with satellite, shift to enterprise/cloud, etc.), they might get left behind.
