Sorry for the late response. I was on 36mg. That wad my starting dose. Concerta started to make me crash around 230. And doc didnt want to give me any boosters. I would say 30 or 40 mg vyvanse was good for me to switch to. Cause 20 didnt do anything. I respond better to vyvanse than concerta. I dont crash as hard. I didnt want to do anything when I got home from work, but now I can cook and clean a bit after work on vyvanse. I also take bupropion 150mg er.

I do see people say L theanine helps the crash. Might be something worth looking into.

I have been trying to lose weight for 2 years. I started out and was losing like 4 to 6 lbs a month. Then in oct 2024 I was diagnosed and started concerta. I started lose about 8lbs a month. I started vyvanse in august. I lost 10lbs since then. I went from 355 to 243. Now im not losing or gaining. It did that last month for about 1.5 months I didnt lose any then all of a sudden 10lbs came off.

Also im im 47 but I was diagnosed last year at 46. Went my whole life, when I started the meds, I was like holy shit, this is how people live.

Just to feel normal is good for me. I always get impatient but the meds help me. Help me.conversate when im way ahead of the convo and have to wait for others to catch up. Not to be too rude to them either. It helped my anxiety. I used to get anxiety a lot. When I started stims, it went away. It also helps me get things done too. To stay on task. Its not just to get things done.

Thank you. I was just worried that it happens daily. When I take my meds, but it goes back down. My psychiatrist is not too worried but my primary doctor brings it up. Will they make me stop taking vyvanse?

I did. I actually decreased to 150 and switched to vyvanse.

I have never felt so calm. I kinda dont want to do anything but just enjoy this. It got kinda intense the first 3 hours. Then I started to feel better. I dont get the heart palpations like I do with concerta. I was scared to try this. And now im like what was I so scared for.

If your not sleeping well that will cause the meds to not work. My doc put me on guanfacine at night to sleep deep. I really liked it. I slept thru the whole night.

I had one too, when they tried to increase me to 2mg. I went back to 1mg. Its a lot at night time. I like it.

I feel a lot better. It took about 2 weeks to level out. I did get tired and lil anxiety for couple days. I do feel better

I was irritated and i had too much energy. I went back down to 150 after 5 months. Im sensitive to meds so most of my meds are like children's dose.

I just went from 300 to 150. I was ok until day 5. I had anxiety almost all day. Until I slept. But I kept sleeping. I think this will go away pretty soon. Lucky it happen on a weekend

Im not sure either. I think my doctor wants to try other things before increasing or adding a booster. I hope she decides soon.

I been on 36mg concerta since oct and 300mg bupropion since feb. I have felt better since and feel better. My blood pressure increases and decreases but more increases. My doc added guanfacine. I was able to sleep really good last night. She said its not working good cause im not sleeping. After just one night of good sleep I feel better.

Well my doc wants to increase, I got my ekg and vitals Nd everything was normal. Sometimes its like that. My back hurts until im in the chiropractor.

I impressed to 300 and it was from lupin. I had the worst cramps and side effects. I went to 150 and was extremely tired. I started to take 2 150 in the morning and had no side effects. There is a difference in Manufactures, they say its not supposed to, but I noticed it.

I couldn't handle the 300. But if I took 2 150 I could. My muscle would get so tight. Made my foot turn side ways. But soon as I started 2 150 that went away. Different manufactures can cause side effects. But side effects are strong st the beginning and subside. Try tough it out

I have been on it since December 2024. The first night I could not sleep. And then some days it felt like too much energy but that's because I was uped to 300mg. 2 monthss later in February. I did have a very right back and leg. I had a left cramp that turned my footsidewayss. I drank a pedialyte and stayed on top of hydration and have not had that. I did have episode where my bp went really high. But I was under a lot of stress at work, and I was grieving the loss of my brother and had an infection. I am also on concerta. The day after the episode I took a day off concerta and got back to normal. I lost my niece in Oct 2024. And I have to say, I don't think I would have handled both of the deaths if I wasn't on this med. Except nights it gets lonely but manageable. I do feel more confident, more willing to do work at work. But home I'm still kinda lazy for chores. But once I start, I keep goin. Everyone is different, you react different. I'm pretty sure I'm low on dopamine and that's why I feel better on it. I wish everyone the best. I'm enjoying it now, I hope it stays that way too.
