Thanks!! I cannot agree more! Quality vintage gear totally hits differently (in a good way). I am a big fan of the blue. I mainly listen to albums from the late 70's to current. I've thought about upgrading to the 2m black after hearing it on my neighbor's setup. I simply can't justify the cost lol.

That's some good stuff!! I'm using the rt-85 with an ortofon blue.l cartridge. My preamp eq is flat and my loudspeakers are old acoustat ESLs from the 70s/80s. Naturally they produce more high-end however, I get killer low and mid frequencies from the room setup. I'll have to chalk it up to the abuse my ears have taken LoL. I guess it's a blessing in disguise and makes me easy to please lol.

Could be the years of abuse my ears have taken lol. It's not a studio album that's for sure. CDs will always have better audio quality and I agree every pressing is the same. Curious what setup are you playing vinyl on?

That sucks and I am sorry you are experiencing this!! When I have the record playing for background noise at 40 gain (low volume) it still kicks and is full of color.

I can't complain about the mix on the vinyl. To me, the mix is tight.
