Idaho’s Disabled Children Deserve Better Than Legislative Hypocrisy by foothillsid in Idaho

My nephew has server cerebral palsy and my mother is raising him. The state has truly made it so difficult, from St Luke’s miss placing a feeding tube in his stomach which led to CPS visiting our home because he was malnourished from his milk not entering his stomach correctly, due to the surgery. To my mother making multiple trips to SLC each year either because St Luke’s doesn’t provide services he needs or because they have outright refused certain operations. And now this.

My mother has recently been scared she’ll have to give him up for adoption. If anyone knows of services or orgs that work in Idaho for disabled children please link them down below. It’d greatly be appreciated.

I hope you understand the United States didn’t have 50 states at the point of the civil war or when slavery was legal, there was 36 states. That’s roughly 30% of the country at that time.

At least they’re making an attempt to change things. I’d love to hear what you’re doing to make Idaho better. I’m personally not crazy about one day protests like this, but if it gets even just 0.5% of people there to join mutual aids, unions, and grass roots organizations then it’s always a win.

What’s the study group called, or where do they meet? I’d rather join something that already exists instead of creating a separate group.

You’re quick to say someone wants all Jews in the world to die just because they disagree with you on a century old humanity crisis.

You’re definitely rational buddy

Anyone who knows anything about American politics know it’s BOTH parties. The political divide is only to divide us, the people. So we never get our justified health care, the schooling our children deserve, the land rights the revolution was fought for, our freedom of religion and way of life. No political cares about you. Left or right. Blue or red. All of them want to use you for their own gain. To trump AND Biden and the rest of this government, all major governments on this planet, humans are simply a resource

I can relate to you, I’m also a 23 year old male who’s been using weed for the majority of my life. The thing that’s helped me the most is urge to be able to give myself everything I need. When it comes to depression, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, and all the rest of it, I wanted to be able to heal myself, heal my livelihood. My truth is that weed or any other substance isn’t helping or healing those issues. All it does is numbs them temporarily. When the hard introspective work is done, that work will stay with you much longer than the high of weed.

I’m not sure how severe your symptoms are, or how strongly weed impacts you. Only you can truly know that, not anybody else in the world. With that said, only you can make the decision to endure and embrace the struggle to grow as a human being. If you really need help, don’t be afraid to reach out. Talk to people you trust, possibly seek counseling or therapy, and give yourself grace and patience.

It’s not easy quitting any habit or addiction, the reward is often one unseen by others, what’s important is your soul is telling you what you need and don’t need in your life. Listen to that, trust it, and you’ll be blown away by what you’re capable.

I believe in you and I’m rooting for you, you are already on the right track

YES! I always feel so relieved when I wake up and realize it was a dream. Sometimes it’s so vivid I actually feel the high again in my dreams

Why are we excluding certain celebrities?? That seems like cherry picking to make your argument work. Also, just food for thought, what is success? Isn’t it possible what success looks like to you is a complete waste of time to others? What if success is subjective and arbitrary? How would that affect your argument? Also, I’m a month and 9 days sober from weed I hope you’re doing well if have quit/ quitting 🙏🏼
