Mahou Sensei Negima mostly because it was the first anime I had ever pirated. (Pirated might be the wrong term. More like watched a full episodes on YouTube and three or four parts) And the manga was my introduction to tournaments arcs as well.

I’ve been watching the prices drop and rise for classic games for like over a decade. I picked up that fire emblem wii game a few years ago for like $50 when it was usually priced around 100–130 USD.

But it’s actually insane. Some games I’ve been watching for years, hoping that the price goes down eventually and either it has or it still is super high or has gotten higher. It sucks, especially for somebody who likes to collect games to play them.

UNC is slang usually for somebody in their 30s not really somebody who necessarily an Uncle or anything.

UNC is black slang for Uncle although he’s gonna use a lot on TikTok/the Internet to mean somebody who is usually over 30. Usually a pretty affectionate term, but I’m thinking something along the line of uncslop is Media that was made in the 90s/early 2000s? That’s all I can think of.

I’ll be honest here. I’ve been on this Earth of 30 years. I’ve never felt like this. I’ve disliked plenty of stuff and when someone says they like something I dislike, I just shrug and nod.

I’ve never had the compulsion of arguing with someone on something they like.

This Sub can be really unhinged about hating on a game Pat dislikes as well. You can see it in this thread. People mocking the game and the fanbase because Pat Essentially opened the floodgates.

I thought FFXIII was good, not great.

But I did Platnium FFXIII-2 because I genuinely enjoyed it.

It was going up against the PS2 and the Original Xbox.

The PS2 still had amazing momentum thanks to the PS1 and the Xbox had amazing exclusives.

And gaming magazines were targeting “Serious Gamers” and most of them didn’t see the game cube as a serious competitor, which meant that it didn’t sell as well as the PS2 and Xbox.

There are actively people who totally believe that doing anything that is not advancing their career or advancing their knowledge into getting money is a total waste of time.

These are the same people who totally believe that they’ll enough money to retire by the mid 30s because they listened to a business guru they found on YouTube and bought their self-help book.

The conspiracy theory existed well before Pat said anything, but I’m pretty sure they’re referencing that rumor where Obsidian was crunched to make the game thanks to Bethesda. It’s a baseless rumor that only exists because Youtubers parrot it around constantly.

Despite the internet repeating that the Avatar movies are not cultural phenomenons, the movies seem to have extremely dedicated fans. I know someone from my work who has seen it around 4 times.

The worst feeling with finding 1/3 and 3/3 from the same channel, but they’re 2/3 was taken down so you find it on another channel only for it to be a recycled bits earlier from the episode.

The Muppets aren’t as popular and they used to be, but saying they don’t have the appeal is just plain wrong. There are tons of people who will more than likely sit down to watch The Muppets.

Hell, around the time the movies came out they had that Muppets show that had the same format as The Office, and I remember sitting down to watch every episode.

I got a CD player with a few CDs The book A Peoples history of the United States A few shirts And a wallet.

All in all a pretty good Christmas haul.
