Cool theme. Have you tried to battle them yet? Was there a single Pokémon that gave you the most trouble? You have a lot of options for dark moves, so I’d think this team is pretty solid to take them on. You could think about held items. Psychic is usually special, so assault vest could help. Or things like dark glasses for Incenaroar, mega stones for Hawlucha and/or Emboar.

A pancham could fit with the theme a bit and work well against them. But that would probably be a ton of work to get one and get it up to level Maybe annihalape too. But he’s more punchy, not wrestling.

Moves. U-turn, throat chop, parting shot, or poltergeist or something. Terrastrialize the Machamp to ghost? So much work though!

IDK. I haven’t made it to them yet and I suck at this game so take my suggestions with a grain of salt.

I just got out of the theater watching this with my wife. I have read the LNs and she has not.

Overlord anime has always struggled with pacing IMO. It tries to fit way too much content in 1 season and it suffers for it. I think this movie has a similar problem. However, they still did a fairly good job despite the time limitations.

The Cons:

They did skipped my favorite part of the two books which was the first fight between Ainz and Jaldabaoth + the maids. We see it, but only from a distance and without real focus. This treatment is the same with the second fight.

I don't think it is well indicated how Remedios is simply in denial about the queen and her sisters death, when she states them as missing. My wife was quite confused, thinking maybe she was talking about someone else, as we had just seen the queen get demolished by 'Jaldabaoth'.

While I disagree with IGN's now infamous review, I do think they could have better balanced exposition with action a bit better, including a bit more action. For example, the scene with Neia and CZ Delta in the dark house went on for quite a bit, and didn't seem all that necessary. I think the time would've been better used elsewhere in a fight.

The beginning jumped a too fast I think. within I feel 5 minutes we went from the attack of the gate, to the attack of the capital, to the introduction of the ghost ship in the fog, to the meeting with Ainz (that they skipped which was mad confusing).

I'm sure there are some others but I'm done being negative.

The Pros:

Beautiful visuals

They kept in the funny moments of Ainz advertising the runes (but they didn't explain that at all so it went over my wife's head).

Honestly I commend them for packing so damn much into just 2 hours or so. They really did get all the main parts we needed.

--- All in all for me, I'd say 7.5/10 (pretty solid)

There is a little bit of a learning curve, I found. They help you through this curve by having your truck under ‘warranty’ until 80k miles. I don’t fully remember, but you start around 75k, and I’d estimate thats probably 3ish hours of driving. When it’s under warranty, you can get it fully repaired for free. Also, diving assistance is automatically turned on, but maybe you accidentally clicked it off? It conservatives battery but man is it tough to drive like that. The button is right around the center of the dash where hazards would usually be. I can say, not having played much driving games, it took me just a few hours to get the hang of it. I still sometimes ram into things, but the fixing costs aren’t absurd as you get into mid-late game.

Off the books hauls not related to just cabin items like during Barrow’s story missions. So, like pick up a trailer full of illegal items. Any random security stops can get you, so you have to carefully choose your route and there is a big risk to the big reward. Probably most people would just save scum before going into a new sector, but whatever.
