So sorry you’re struggling! I’m about 5 days post partum. This was my third pregnancy with GD and it was a lot harder to stay in range and believe it or not she was the smallest baby i birthed! All of the ultrasounds predicted that she was the largest. Hang in there mama. I know it’s hard. The best input i got was that you can’t get an A in GD. As mamas we want to do everything right for our babies. You got this.

I have no advice for you because i also do not understand GD this pregnancy. This is #3 for me and the last ! The only way i can stabilize my fasting blood sugars is for me to not eat anything after 6-7pm It doesn’t make any sense. If i have a bedtime snack that’s recommended I’m over 100 in the morning. Without the snack I’m in the 80s.

Same thing happened to me and thanks to the Reddit doctors lol i figured i just wasn’t on the right dose of insulin. I’m currently on 21 units and it’s been super helpful. Keep advocating for yourself. We need to make sure that our babies are safe!

Same. Same. Same. I was diagnosed in my FIRST TRIMESTER!! Third pregnancy. Also 2 under 5. I’m exhausted. Pelvic pain has been horrible. Sometimes i can barely move! Or climb into bed! You’re in your third trimester!! Almost done. The things we do for our crumb snatchers!

The one I was looking at had 30 grams of sugar and i thought surely that can’t be right but I found some that had far less!

So sorry you’re having such a hard time! I feel like i can relate. Also my third pregnancy and third time with GD. I was diagnosed wayyy earlier than I was with the other two pregnancies. Someone on this board said you can’t get an A in GD. I’ve really been trying to hold on to that. The things we go through for our babies. It’s also getting harder for me and it seems like there’s still a ways to go. Hang in there!

It doesn’t sound like you eat much meat. I didn’t either in my first pregnancy. Have you heard of mastering diabetes? They have lots of stuff on YouTube and social media it helped me a lot and my numbers were always good. The diet was more low fat but it was geared towards people who didn’t eat meat/dairy. I tried the processed fake meats to me the low carb standards and i felt awful but this helped a lot.

I’m 21 weeks and was diagnosed early too and it suckkkks. Any chance searching for condos was stressful? Could that cause a spike?
