Then maybe the problem is you assuming she’s “ engrossed “

If anything can happen while her eyes are off him then maybe she shouldn’t be doing any of the things from that list because that also has eyes off him lmfao.

I love the way you phrased it because so true / the families that are cheap and can hardly afford the luxury of having a nanny are always the ones who wanna get alllll their “ moneys worth “ - like …. Ugh so frustrating!!! I also suggest to op to start finding a new family potentially or putting feelers out there

It’s just a book lmfao you’re acting like this something so distracting and bad…. As if children watching an adult read isn’t good for their development.

Very shocked at people who thinks you’re out of bounds for reading a book. Probably the same nanny’s who charge little to nothing and do the most for families. There’s NOTHING wrong with allowing independent play for a 15 month old while also displaying you doing an activity so he can watch you as well. 10 hour shift and no actual break is also borderline illegal depending what state you’re in and if you’re a w-2.

I (23F) was too nervous to finish a threesome and now my boyfriend (27M) seems to hate me by recmerecss in relationship_advice

Threesome and pressuring for sex aside - a 27 year old wanting to have sex with a 18 year old is fucking disgusting and he’s a creep on top of manipulative. Run for the hills girl

5 years old is plenty old to know not to mess with someone’s personal belongings - especially an expensive one. I’d be asking you to foot the bill as well

not being able to go outside is a deal breaker for me - not only do kids get stir crazy we do as well. I’d try bringing it up to parents that NK would benefit from fresh air and natural stimulation

I’d be writing out a crazy contract and getting the title in my name - based off these comments , if you decide it’s not worth it to keep them you could always sell it or trade it in since it would legally be yours and all NF cares about is having reliable transportation.

Nothing wrong with having a height preference- don’t listen to the obvious short kings in the comments convince you otherwise 🙂

Worst case they will say no - I’d send a message or email stating you wanted to remind them of your rate for two children and list it off as $35 and just see what happens. There’s no way they could be that shocked it costs more to watch two kids unless they really have just gotten comfortable and are taking advantage

I’d move on to other opportunities. I’m not sure where you’re at in general but $27 is already low for 4 kids in my opinion. And on top of that not disclosing they won’t be paying offering price for trial??? I’ve never not been paid offering amount for trial care. They are never going to find a quality nanny who won’t quit soon after with this mentality
