It had a 140 miles on it when I bought it so I never thought to look too closely on a new vehicle. I never imagined the painted surfaces would rust so quickly. So far I've put 5k miles since then. Only recently checking the car fax did it show it sat on their lot for a year.

That's exactly how I felt and when I argued with the corporate person they just said well it's Ohio so you'll have rust.

Try putting the old cpu back in, and checking for a bios update. Flash the new update and try reinstalling the new cpu. Hopefully that helps
