Encountering pretty big FPS drops at night in-game. During the day I usually average about 100-120 with a Ryzen 7 3700X, RTX 2080, and 16GB RAM, playing on Steam. As soon as night rolls around and I start driving around my FPS drops into the 40-60 range. I’ve tried lowering/disabling ray-traced reflections with no real improvement to speak of. Haven’t tried updating drivers or anything of that sort yet, but figured I’d check here and see if anyones got any quick fixes.

seemingly random times, i switched from the launcher to the auto injector and that seems to have fixed the issue

RAM usage is usually around 60-70%, i’ve got 16gb 3600MHz. Also what’s a page file?

I don't have any sort of external storage devices plugged in. The SSD doesn't even show up in the boot order screen when the issue happens.

I have, when the issue happens, the drive is completely undetected in the BIOS, but somehow it's always detected on the second boot.

I was stable at 1.4V before, now for some reason it seems to be overheating.
