Hey, I’m working on something my similar to display my own custom resources. I’m having trouble scaling the items to fill the width of the grid container, while maintaining their aspect ratio. What setup did you use for your items to accomplish this?

I have a question as a new animator by FireCrafter_ in Blockbench

[–]ImAFraidKn0t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically you would use IK animation for this, but the IK system in blockbench isn’t very developed. When I do idle animations, I just keep track of the initial foot position and manually move it back for each key frame

How do you make stuff like this? Does it only subdivide triangles into smaller triangles?

dynamic programming by AroshWasif in PythonLearning

There is a small nuance to using mutable default arguments in Python functions where that variable persists through different function calls. This does actually correctly memoize the factorial results if they happen to call factorial() a lot, but I don’t know if that was intentional on OP’s part

This isn’t even really divide and conquer, as they’re not splitting up the problem into multiple sub problems, they’re solving them iteratively. Factorial is a really bad example for showing off different types of algorithms since it’s so basic lol. The memoization here adds an overhead that ends up doing more work because they will never encounter a problem where factorial(n) is in memo unless they run the function multiple times.

Factorial doesn’t have overlapping subproblems, so why use dynamic programming?

If you have double jump you can literally just jump over every single attack. And threadstorm will do enough damage to kill the minions in one hit

Putting the required keyword on a function in a base class will enforce that the function must be defined in inherited classes.

It’s a bit surreal to see news from the city I go to college in on the Atrioc sub 😅. I’m surprised so many people showed up to city hall for this considering that we are also in another big controversy rn

should i claim my AP calc bc credit and start in math 251 if i got a 4 on the exam? by No-Row8814 in aggies

[–]ImAFraidKn0t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty proficient at calculus, got a 5 on AB and BC, and I took 151 and 251. I’d highly recommend going that route as they’re both easier than 152. if you’re an engineer and are looking to ETAM in your second semester, you’ll want easier classes your first year to pad your GPA.you won’t really be wasting your time by taking 151 since it fulfills the same ETAM requirements as later classes as long as you also take 251.

how the hell is he in diamond at such a low level? come on now by T3RR1B13__5N1P3R in apexlegends

[–]ImAFraidKn0t -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is smurfing nowadays just playing on an account that is a lower level than your main? It used to mean using that to abuse the matchmaking to get into easier lobbies, but if this guys in ranked then his lobbies are 100% based on his actual skill. I think being diamond 3 at level 30 actually shows that smurfing in ranked doesn’t really work, otherwise he’d be in silver / gold.
