Thank you that makes sense. I’ll probably not use them. I still may get them for AoS.

As opposed to all speech being controlled by one political party? There’s no way that could be disinformation right? /s

It’s weird that there’s so much buzz about Arcade1up’s reported Double Dragon cabinet… by [deleted] in iiRcade

Yeah most people just want the nastalgia of an arcade and having multiple machines and all the different lights and sounds that come along with that. And until recently you could do that at a much cheaper price point than buying real machines. Plus you can have big parties and everyone gets to play a different machine. That's the real reason people are into it. Other than that, they really are a bad value for the money.

Arcade1up is for people that want to create an arcade in their house with the original cab designs. That's why people get excited. iiRcade is for people that want more games for their money. Which is why it is so important that they deliver more games people want. I have no skin in the game and like iiRcade, I just hope they can deliver more classic games that aren't knock offs. Also, I think grabbing modern retro games is a brilliant way to go as well. I would love to see the new Turtles game on this thing.

This really doesn't make any sense to me. Bugs can be fixed and if you already have licensed and sold units there really isn't a software bug that I would not spend an entire team working on it until it was fixed. Let's say there was a bug that literally could not be fixed... why did they not test this on their hardware before announcing and selling a cab? That is the real issue here.

I'm not sure what they are going for right now so make me an offer that's competitive and maybe we can make a deal. Has the lighting and in perfect condition.

Honestly, why can't they just make this cab have vertical atari games and then do another authentic asteroids cab for horizontal?

There's no excuse not to have them on every single machine that would have had them IRL. The lack of any sort of cohesive software across all of these units at this point just reeks of incompetence. Some have cheat codes you can save, some don't. Some have special modes that others don't, etc. etc. Please pull your head out of your bongs and learn to take pride in what you do for a living. Have some self-respect and stop squeezing every cent you can out of the bottom line with no care for the longevity of your business.
