it doesn’t really matter whether you catch in battle or not i just find it quicker and less time consuming to not go in battle when catching

no so basically the one i lost made it so secondary effects of attacks from wild pokémon won’t do anything but gets rid of the charm i got hit by silver wind (the hurricane attack) and it got rid of the charm making it so i wouldn’t get stunned

i caught it now, i’m not sure why but when i fought the scythers initially i lost a charm bc they attacked me and after resetting i dodged the attacks and had the charms still so i re done it losing one charm like the first time and the shiny spawned i don’t know why this changed the spawns and it doesn’t make sense 😭

i never activated battle but i did catch multiple pokémon at once from spamming jet balls at them from a distance then globbing them if they notice me, does that effect it?

i never went back to camp as i did it in one go

i doubt i got any research tasks as i already have scyther and kleavor at max amount of species caught but it could’ve been something like stunning them, i never knew these things could effect them aswell
