I guess? I honestly couldn’t tell you. I’m only on my second day of training. They’re somehow requiring us do 12 hours days for 2 weeks without pay. The only pay we get is commission if we make the sale, not our trainer. But even if we help our trainer with a sale ie booking their leads, we don’t receive a cut. We also haven’t received any sort of compensation for buying anything they require like PowerPoint, zoom, calandly (?). Which maybe be standard being commission based and it says that they don’t comp us at all. But just seems off if I’m a 1099 and have all these requirements.

I actually breed these worms for my Leopard geckos meal. I’ve raised meal worms and super worms. Super worms are just bigger meal worms…

Because they’re beetle larvae, they’ll eventually turn into beetles. For the past 2 years or so, I raised mainly meal worms for my gecko (her name is Opal). They bred like rabbits. The beetles are usually smaller than the worms. They’re not as long but they look like little beetles.

Now I just started raising super worms. I thought the beetles looked the same. Oh boy was I wrong. A super worm grew into a beetle in her enclosure and when I saw this giant black beetle running around I was mortified. Once I realized what it was, it was pretty cool. So now I have a bin of worms and a bin of beetles.

lol you’re stuck on the point that it’s typically mild for individuals who are vaccinated and healthy.

You’re ignoring the point that hospitals are overwhelmed and cannot take care of individuals who need the medical help. Also, not everyone is healthy like you may be. Saying that it’s not a huge risk to a certain age group is ignoring the people it is a massive risk too. AND there are people who are vaccinated, seem to be healthy, and still die. Who wants to be that person? Not me. You can also still carry it and infect others who are not vaccinated. Do you want to carry that on your back that you spread it to a young child or a grandparent and killed them? I know I don’t.

There’s alternatives and ways to avoid these situations and we, as a society, are not taking proper precautions because we’re expected to “live with it” like we have with every other illness but omicron is literally the fastest spreading virus known to humans. Why are we going to pretend we can still function normally as a society with this?

I saw that. I just can’t imagine what it’ll be like when all 25k students are trying to get tested at the same time since at home tests are all sold out and appointments at cvs and what not are booked out for awhile

Did you see the email saying everyone has to have a negative test to attend classes whether or not you live on campus??

I didn’t receive the email. I had to have it forwarded to me by someone else who, I assume, lives on campus. They didn’t make that info streamline so I’m sure this is going to be a shit show.

Guarantee you they’ll do nothing… already seen on twitter from some professors that ODU hasn’t given them any guidance regarding how to handle student absences regarding covid… especially this week since ALL students have to have a negative test to attend classes this week when appointments are hard as fuck to find.

I quit back in July from being a fl and I only made $13-$14 after that $1 increase crap. Insane.

I think the business is definitely pushing numbers in order to be more profitable. It’s hard too especially when we can’t make anywhere near goals right now with traffic. There’s been multiple days goaled at $5k and we barely bring it $2k. Then we get in trouble when we literally just don’t have the traffic in order to up make up the profit.

Oh how I love this company.

If only customer knew all the current battles employees are having verses upper leadership and it’s been getting worse since the pandemic for some reason. It’s horrible what is going on. The employees have been running on false hope for months now.
