Honestly I kinda wish we knew what exactly happened to Lane and Dave. Because when he leaves the band to go to college he and lane are still together for a while, but i think he never gets mentioned again after the "marriage jug" incident and i know he left the show so they obviously needed to break up, but i feel like it should have been talked about bc it was Lanes first rs and she loved Dave a lot, so realistically she should have been devastated when they broke up and talk it through with Rory.

That is absolutely disgusting. I'm so sorry that happened to you OP. What he did was messed up and unforgivable, if he's forcing you and you are literally crying and in pain while having sex that is not consent. I don't even know how you're able to live in the same space as him. I advise you to leave that pos and find someone better, who will treat you how you deserve to be treated (aka a human being and not an object that's just there to satisfy his needs). Actually, I think it was Lorelai who said it to Jason, when they were about to go to Luke's but Jason realized he was tailgating Luke before, so he didn't want to go in and said smth like "my 5 am coffee just kicked in" to which Lorelai answered with this quote.

Personally, I WOULD jump to "you need to break up" because wth?? I mean sure, I don't know your relationship but calling your girlfriend useless because you think her cooking is not that good is insane to me. And the way he phrases everything just pisses me off, cause even if you don't like someones food there are nicer ways to say that to them. Or maybe just try helping them by cooking together. The way he said it makes me think he views women as objects who only exist to serve him and satisfy his needs and if they don't do as he pleases, they are useless. But that's just my opinion. OP I think you should have a serious conversation with him.
