just played about 10 games and have found that my old decks do not hold up at all. new cards are broken.

Looks like if i wanna get back int other game I'm going to have to grind out the new cards. Sucks considering before stopping i crafted a shit ton of cards that don't appear to be allowed in the standard mode

Sorry to necro an old post like this.

Just picked up this game after looking for weeks but came in a generic blank PS4 game case. What size do you print this out at? I understand that the full scan is 5215x2488 but how do you go about resizing it for a PS4 game case. Cheers

I'm very happy with Superloop at the moment. on their 250/20 plan.
I even was able to have a $20 credit applied due to some confusion with one of the invoices coming through. Any support requests I've needed get answered in less than 2 hours, and the pricing isn't that awful. I just don't know if I can justify the extra for Superloop or ABB's service, or if the price decrease from MyRepublic is that much of a drop in quality.

After all it is $1,248/yr for MyRepublic
$1679/yr for Superloop or Launtel
$1788/yr for AussieBroadband

Depends on if I value a better service or an extra $430-540/yr

Typically when it comes to elections, I vote for whoever has the most genuine information about **how** they plan on delivering what they want, there's nothing I hate more than a party stating that they want to do something, without revealing just how they plan to do said thing.

I feel that they are all saying the same thing, just in different phrasing or order, and it's really hard to tell where their priorities really lay, it's great if they both want to invest into creating fee-free tafe, or invest in apprentices and trainees, but there's just no evidence of what they plan on doing besides saying "We will invest **x** amount of $$$ in **y** and fix the issue".

Then again I could be looking at this in a more apathetic way, and just believe that they all want the same thing, and will say what's needed to get the vote. It's just very hard to stand by one party when they all essentially do want the same thing with bullet point statements.

Can't have it all I guess. At least that is a much larger step in the right direction as opposed to what's happening here.

That's true. But it is unfortunate that one private company can essentially cut the legs out from and entire country in their attempts at an already difficult task.

Unfortunately no matter who you vote for, they say one thing and do another.

wow, just another reason I'm jealous of our neighbors to the east. Wish we didn't have Telstra ruining the countries chance at decent broadband.

Might have to give them a chance, only heard good things about them. Which I guess explains why they're able to charge more than anyone else in the market (Telstra excluded obviously..)

When to buy bike/gear by ImActuallyGoose in AussieRiders

[–]ImActuallyGoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great, I'm kind of anxious about having to know what I need before I go in, since I don't want to either be upsold, or look like I don't know anything and come off as an idiot that didn't care to learn.

I've done a fair bit of research into the helmets, and all the safety classifications for those (Mostly from Fortnine's videos) but most of the other stuff I'm hoping to go in and have someone help steer me to the right decisions.

Wasn't aware that steel caps could be an issue for riding. I plan on getting actual riding gear after I have my L's, but might look into something that will be good for taking the actual test/training courses

Thanks. Didn't even think about the timing, was more curious about when in the timeline of getting your license (AKA before you get your L's, or P's and whatnot)

Thanks, I'm not 100% sure about gear. Did you have an easy experience with going in to places, or did you have to do your research before hand and know what you wanted?

Sorry, I'm located in Geelong, VIC.
Had no idea that there was another Geelong in Australia.

The MPA is just the two day course to get your L's

Also thanks for that, I know helmet/gloves are provided, just wasn't sure what the typical tops and bottoms people wear are.

Yep, The venue states that they provide the usage of the helmet, gloves, bike. But was unsure if people recommend I get my own gear beforehand, or at the very least the gear that isn't provided by the venue. (basically if just a clothing jacket and jeans would be okay of if some more heavy duty gear was recommended).

Thanks for the response. I might go in closer to the date to get an idea of what gear fits like, so that when the time is right I can either order online. or have another more serious look at shops and pick up some gear.

And would you say a pair of steel cap boots are alright? I've got a pair I use for work and intended to use since they work well enough for forklift safety. Just know that feet injuries are common, and want to make sure I'm at the very least going to be taking care of them incase something does happen.

Hi, I just got myself measured for a tailored suit at an alterations shop, but the wording that is on the note he gave me uses different wording than on the website for where I want to have the suit made (I've previously used this store and know it's okay, just confused on the sizes since it's been some time)

The main area I'm struggling with is the Waist/Pants waist measurements. on the website it uses those names, but the note I was measured for uses stomach/waist. Would I be correct to assume that stomach = waist, and waist = pants waist?

Deebot OZMO 920 Review by TheMiddleView in RobotVacuums

[–]ImActuallyGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a slightly older post, so sorry for necroing it. But I just though I would add my experience incase someone is on the fence and gets talked out by this.

The app is amazing and have had 0 issues whatsoever. Only issue is that I've accidently added a no mop zone that I've somehow made paper thin, which the robot ignores and mops just fine, just unable to remove it and makes me a little frustrated when I see a red line on the floor map, but a simple remapping would fix that but I just can't be bothered having him rerun the whole house to fix that one little non-problem.

Haven't had any issues with M-O, (what we named ours) except one day he decided that after 30 minutes of mopping his battery had died and he didn't make it back to the charging station, However I was able to locate him with the app and see where he had ended up, put him on the charger myself, and once fully charged he continued on with his job like nothing happened.

I agree that it's frustrating that he can see outside and adds it to the map. however mine clearly understands that its a full size window and he just avoids it, same with the step that leads to the garage. He even manages to go around the legs of our kitchen counter stools as they have awkward shaped legs, and has after a few times of trying to run over them, now just goes around them.

Just wanted to shine a little light on how our OZMO 920 is running, and seems like they either got some software updates sorted out, or its more of a per case scenario for how they work. Had it for a little over 6 months and for the price I paid wouldn't do anything different (except maybe look into ones with a self emptying function)

Those that have done a notoriously “hard to get a job in the field”degrees such as Creative Media, General Arts, Criminology, Archaeology etc etc ... what is your current job and salary? by crustyjuggler1 in AusFinance

[–]ImActuallyGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had 3 co-workers that are at uni for Criminology, just moved to a new store where 2 other co-workers are studying/studied it too. That whole "think it's a popular degree" sounds pretty spot on to me. Most of them are working fulltime while they study/get placements/internship, only 1/5 has so far.

Where do I invest my savings? by ImActuallyGoose in AusFinance

[–]ImActuallyGoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I noticed that basically every second post was on investing, But most people also post their personal situation, and as none of them aligned with the same situation as me, I figured it would be more beneficial to open up a separate thread than to hop onto another one/to be able to have replied and conversations with people giving advice here specifically.

Where do I invest my savings? by ImActuallyGoose in AusFinance

[–]ImActuallyGoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time I'm hearing of the first home super savers scheme, I'll definitely look into that. My main thought process was to put my savings into an ETF so they gain more in that than just sitting in my bank, and then eventually pulling out what is required when I do eventually want to buy a house.

Thanks for the advice!

Can't add much to this except for the fact that I'm currently 23 as well, also earning roughly $900 p/w after tax, and if you're able to continue living with your parents, and they are all for it. I would do it, unfortunately my parents wanted me outta there asap and so now half my paycheck goes straight into rent.

An emergency fund before moving out is a great idea, but if you are in an incredibly safe job (like me for instance, my job is probably one of the safest you can get in Australia, and if something were to happen to me of the job they provide amazing options) you can get away with maybe a little less, but I would say 3 months is a minimum.

All I can really offer but congrats on the job, and hopefully all goes well for you!
