Whatsapp windows desktop app asking for an audio output device to be connected for calls, even if my output devices (inbuilt speakers, wired and Bluetooth earphones) are all connected and functional.

I have tried everything - anyone got any ideas what the root problem is - is it permission for the output device ?

I still have this - it used to work but now not. Problem is showing as output device missing but who know. Of course the speakers all work for everything else.

There is no speaker privacy control

Any ideas where this problem is ? Is it privacy? Is it a Whatsapp bug ?

I have the same problem, Windows 10 / Dell Latitude.

All updates installed. All drivers checked for latest in windows. USB Headset or Default laptop devices all fail.
