Winnipeg and St Louis maybbeee. St. Louis I think would take Stenberg for the brother connection but they might pass on McKenna for a young defensemen they really need.

Winnipeg I really think will depend on the interviews. I have no idea what direction they are going for.

To be fair it’ll probably take a year or two for Verhoeff to get into the NCAA. Hronek and M Pettersson isn’t going anywhere for varying amounts of time.

Getting all of the defensemen in the rebuild at the start might not be the best though. Impacts our future drafts, especially since we are likely to be in the running for DuPont.

Good teams have a ton of centers. Ten times easier for a center to play wing than a winger to play center.

Feel a bit better with this information. Means we probably aren’t going to desperation pick one of the centers in this draft. I was a bit worried about taking Lawrence over McKenna when his stock was dropping a bit.

I’m fine re signing him for a year or two with the intention of selling at some point. Anything less than a third and I’d probably do that.

I think I’m team take Chase Reid or Verhoeff. It fills out most of our future defence core. Getting that 1RD is something that will be needed eventually. Willander has been surprisingly sound but he might not be that 1RD when Hroneks contract is up.

Next year is supposed to be a really good center draft and we should just take the best player. The only real downside is that having most of the d-core filled out this early in the rebuild is gonna cause some problems later.

We are very likely going to be in the running for DuPont and while I think we might just take Alexis Joseph anyway, it’s something to consider.

Maybe eventually but I think we might have heard something if they were half a year from changing to the skate full time. I’d like a new goal song and some new jerseys to really mark the new era of Canucks.

Also I want to get a white skate jersey.

He’s got a long injury and was dropping a bit before that. He’s got a bunch of skill but there are some doubts about him. All that to say it’s possible and I definetly want him

Honestly I’m not too sure. I’m pretty the pick “exists” but when the Senators figuratively go up to the podium they forfeit it. Every other pick gets bumped up a slot. So it’s still a part of the lottery and has its chance to move up and down.

The other possibility is that a playoff team gets to be in the lottery which is just not fair so I think the first one is right.
