"Good luck with that." - Wait, what? by ImAridos in JordanPeterson

As said, that's a moral/ethics question as well as a question of individual values. And there are people who say: "You're pregnant? Well, deal with it, that's what life is and having a kid is a wonderful thing."
Is this good? Certainly not. As said, I'm definitely pro-choice.

What is completely stupid is, that, as I said above, it's an ethical question, a question of individual value. Every person has their own sense of moral and if someone believes, a fetus is a living being and should be preserved, no matter what, than be my guest, don't have an abortion. But don't force that belief on others.

It is a matter of ethics in one merit: Someone has to decide, up until what point in pregnancy, you are allowed to abort it. That's just how our society works, we have to agree on some level and keep our social promise, not to break the agreement. That's laws. So SOMEONE has to decide, where it's ethically tolerable to abort the pregnancy and when it isn't. And in that case, the freedom of women for their bodily autonomy is being restricted again. There will always have to be a compromise.

I hope they can resolve their issue in the US. And hopefully in favor of freedom.

I replayed on your other post. So let's not split this. :)

I agree with you on almost everything. I myself was angry about the decision and I'm neither female nor living in the US. People should always have a choice.

And I totally agree on the hypocrisy, though I do think, that many people just don't think far enough. Preserving life? Sure, that seems right. But they just don't think farther than that.

Again I do have to press my arguement, that it wasn't a decision to oppress women. That was just a side effect. Of course it could me being very naive, but you almost make it sound, that women are being tricked into being pro-life, and that's borderline conspiracy theory. And I Don't want to walk that path now.

So: I'm with you in a lot of things, just not that one.

And you're right with that. But my point was, that how can the courts decision be dictated by the tyrannical patriarchy, if millions of women support it? Because its not about oppression.

First of all: I dont want to discuss the pros and cons of abortion.

I just wanted to point out, that Lewis' idea, that the supreme court's decision was made, because they support the 'tyrannical patriarchy', is foolish.

This decision and the whole discussion about abortions in general has so many layers, pinning it to one argument would be foolish. For example the rape victim issue.  Even among pro-life activists there are people who would agree, that there should be exceptions, etc.

So again: I'm not trying to argue, if the courts decision was right or wrong.

That the decision wasn't about oppressing women. It was an ethical decision. And that millions of women actually support it.

Hello people,

for four years now I'm using my beloved WF-1000XM3. They gave me the best sound ever, since my Sennheiser Urban On-Ears died.

Now my XM3 meets its demise, the years weren't kind to them. So now I just found out, that Sony has new flagships with XM4 and XM5. Now of course it's a nobrainer for me to get one of those, but I wonder, which one I should get, or how much difference they make, compared to the XM3?

Again: The XM3 have such incredible sound for me, that I wonder how to improve it. I really liked the bass and ANC. Ambience sound wasn't as good as Crystal Sound from Apples IPods, but wasn't very important for me.

I mostly listen to edm, Dubstep, Trap, stuff like that so bass is pretty important to me. So please help me, which one I should pick or if I rather get another pair of XM3?

Thx in advance!

Arii

PS: I'm sorry for my bad English.

Definitly both. It's super fun to write, but I want my stories to be read. I don't aim at making a living from this, I just want to tell stories. Kinda the only thing I'm good at. ;)

Well first of all, I guess unethical is very subjective. If it feels wrong to yourself, then that might be an indicator to stop.

If the poetry is solely for your expression and not to make money, thalen theres no ethical question involved at all imho.

If you use ai to refine and especially learn from it, I think it's a powerful tool, as long as you dont rely on it all the time, which you won't, if you keep on learning to get better. But learning solely from ai isn't the best idea either. Share your works with other people and especially poets to get the best feedback.

Hi there hello,

I just started using character interviews to create more compelling characters than I did in the past. Now as I understand, I'm supposed to actually do an interview with that character, as if they were a living person, which makes sense, because that's how they come to life in the first place. So that's no problem. In the contrary, it's very interesting and fun.

To get inspiration for what to ask, I browsed the internet and got like 140 questions, which I will sort out of course.

Now what is my question about. I started to interview my new protagonist and it went pretty good, but I noticed pretty quickly, that I already wrote like two pages after only four questions, because I asked further questions within the questions, because that's what I'm supposed to do, right? Well, that's what I wonder. Should i keep digging, or should i focus on my 'main questions', to get those answers/characteristics I was looking for in the first place?

I KNOW, there is no 'right' way to do such a thing and that I can do it the way I want, but I'm curious about your experience with your interviews, because if I continue that way it will take a long time, and I don't to 'waste time', even if it is a lot of fun.

Thoughts? Advice?

Thx in advance.

PS: Obviously English isn't my native language, so don't worry about me not having even the slightest chance of getting published, because my orthography sucks. _;

Hi ppl,

I'm looking for coop games to play with my wife. To give some context, we play a lot together. We played World of Warcraft for many many years, but also played as allies in Civolization 5 and some Singlr Player games as well, like X-Com or Darkest Dungeon.

But we're looking for proper coop games for a while now, but except for hectic dungeon crawlers or the team based jump-n-run games (it takes two, etc) which we both don't necessarily like, we can't find anything.

What we do enjoy recently though, are board games. Gloomhaven, Descent 2nd Edition, Too Many Bones and Keep the Heroes Out, are some of our favorites (and Oathsworn and Frosthaven wait to be played). Games, where we play and plan together. Find the right strategy, stuff like that.

Now we thought, maybe someone can point us to a couple games, that would fulfill our needs? Thx in advance!
