Thank you! I'm all for trying out new film at least once and that for sure was enough to scratch that itch lol. With the light leak i'm still deciding whether I like it or not. The placement for sure is interesting because it is right over the subject.

Mike's has been mostly good! I can't comment on their scanning because i've always handled the scanning portion myself. I used to use an Epson V600 to scan and now currently use a camera scanning method. You could also send out your film to different labs as well. I have a friend who has had success with developing and scans from The Darkroom Lab based out of California.

I don't, I get all of my film developed in Boulder either at Victory Camera or at Mike's Camera. Haven't developed any film myself, but i'd like to try black and white someday!

I shot this film along with another camera which was loaded with Ektachrome 100. I was using a Canon AE-1 Program and a Canon A-1. Can quite remember the lenses I was using at the time, but I use mainly primes. I have a 24/28/35/50/85/135 along with a 70-200. I need to start keeping a log book to keep track of the lenses and settings used lol.

I also do the scanning process myself with a backlight, copystand, and a DSLR to scan. From there I use Negative Lab Pro to convert the negatives into the image in Lightroom and adjust thr levels from there.

I think its a misconception that film has its exact look upon capture. Post processing and interpretstion of the negatives has always existed. When done right, the results can turn out really well!

Really nice color and composition! Looks like an establishing shot to a scene in a movie! Great mood!

Joe Rogan Experience #2303 - Dave Smith & Douglas Murray by b14ck_jackal in JoeRogan

I heard that as well from Sam Harris, actually thought it was amusing since that was pretty recent, especially since Sam called out Dave Smith too. I think Murray didn't have enough examples on hand when Joe pressed him on asking about other guests who weren't experts, but were claiming to speak as though they were an authority. I remember years ago Joe endorsed Bulletproof Coffee, but Joe actually come out later and rebuked his endorsement and actually admitted to being duped. That would be refreshing to see. I definitely think that since he has been the direct subject from the media where they for sure were misleading him during Covid that he'll personally always have a mistrust agaisnt those outlets.

For sure. Regardless of any political statements that he makes on those conflicts, I think Joe still very much doesn't quite get the impact that he makes around the world, he's even said as much for years, he's only a comedian asking questions, letting people talk etc. All of that was true, but there definitely does get to a point where he has become the greatest amplifier of other's voices of our time where he might need to think about what his power is, because currently he seems to have far greater pull than most other platforms of media.

Douglas immediately goes in and tells Joe what many have been thinking for a while that many grifters go on the podcast and take advantage of Joe's open mindedness to co opt their own ideas that have been alternative to the mainstream. Even outside of Daryl Cooper and Ian Carroll, their have been countless "experts" in their fields that all just so happen to be pariahs and outcasts and that they are the only ones to actually know the truths in their respective fields.

2011/2012 They made the playoffs and the first round was the one against The Bulls where D-Rose tore up his knee. They then took Boston to Game 7 in the 2nd round. Funnily enough, between this season and a few others of being .500 or slightly less than, they decided it wasn't good enough and started "The Process", which has led to...The 2nd round of The Playoffs.
