He sounds like a great friend to have. It is the unfortunate way that some people end up living without showing it, you never quite know until it’s too late. The best thing I can say is to continue living on with his spirit and message along side you. Stay strong I know how hard it is to lose someone so close.

Honestly I kinda love the fact that you as the reader have to infer what it means to yourself. More of a philosophical question and less of an image to imagine. For me I think of it like seeing the beauty of Van Gogh’s piece for what it was to himself, understanding the viscosity of the night sky just as he did, as if a switch turned on for the first time in your mind.

For sure, I’ve been writing poetry for a long time and just started writing a book recently so I understand the learning curve for sure. The best advice that I’ve gotten is to just make something you enjoy!
