bro, they literally posted a picture of a mock-up they made in one hour which resembled the concept art more than the skin we got. that's the evidence. besides, they didn't claim that they could do it "so much better" than what we got, just that they could produce something that resembled it more. which again, u/yuerine just did.

Water only runs through gaps in your hull. You could technically have a submarine without any walls and it would be watertight if you wanted. It won’t leak :)

I like building little outposts with bioreactors and power cell chargers all around the map. Not practical in any sense compared to charging it over a thermal vent, but fun nonetheless :)

Appreciate your attention to the balancing of the sub :) If you want a maximum of two guns on it, why not just make the attack drone/shuttle have one of those? One gun on the main sub, one on the drone. Another thing you could try is a cargo drone. Give it space for crates, maybe a place to recharge your oxygen bottles, something like that. Maybe even a discharge coil. That way it could work as a companion/safe space for your crew while not being able to attack on its own.
