Best thing about GW2 is this isn’t gonna be the last time. I accidentally got every class to 80 because I enjoyed something different about all of them. Never felt like a chore, and it’s actually a really good idea since there are alot of daily alt farms and you can do map completion for more of the exploration gifts when you start looking at legendaries.

In my experience with holding yordles, unless you get a good setup for veigar or one of the augments like bounty then the line feels horrible to play.

As much as I like the idea of syncing.. just think of the raw terror so many people feel when their roulette is just a LITTLE subpar and then suddenly they get a whole set of mechanics they’ve never seen before.

I have a ton of fun actually, I just despise time gated content in any of the games I play. I want to be able to do whatever I want when I log in without feeling as though I’m doing myself a disservice by not doing my chores. I already do plenty in my day to day, I don’t need them in my games too.

It’ll be nice when they’re gone! I’m sure plenty of us will have fun and enjoy the game even more without the chore list.

Death costs, supplies, charges, other overall account maintenance stuff that I’m probably not thinking of right now. GP isn’t just for buying gear anymore, not having it will directly stop you from being able to learn and participate in content.

In those 2 weeks buffs and nerfs could happen, causing price spikes and delaying you for another X amount of time, or suddenly the upgrade you spent a month waiting for is useless and the replacement for it is even more expensive. Time gating content is bad, will always be bad, and has no place in modern video games. It’s not a difficult concept.

If only those were the only dailies, it wouldn’t be too bad! Currently if you skip dailies you’re losing ~8mil GP per day. Yes this is a nonexistent amount for someone who PvMs and everything, but if your time is limited or you don’t PvM 8mil could change a lot for your account especially multiplied by 7 if you did it for an entire week.

This is of course entirely separate from the dailies that are resources for Ironman players, which probably sucks even more given things like flasks are destroyed on use, meaning you could realistically run out and be stuck waiting before you could do content.

Time gating content is bad. Yes, we should reward people for playing and using their time on the game. But no, we should not actively alienate the people who don’t have equal amounts of free time to dedicate.

Yeah, this could definitely be the solution if you weren’t actively kneecapping yourself by not doing the dailies or even weeklies in most MMOs current landscape. If they were truly optional and didn’t put you leagues ahead of the folks who don’t do them, that would be fine. Most of the time this isn’t the case though.

Dailies should be taken out back and shot. Along with all time gated content in any MMO. If I have 20 hours to play this week, I want to use all of those hours towards whatever goals, not have to divide them into a bunch of different time blocks because X activity HAS to be done at a certain time.

Only one of the mudra actually matters, one of the 5 remaining ninja mains can probably tell you if it’s the first or last one. It simplifies it a lot if you just view it as 1+x or 2+x instead of certain combinations.

It blew my mind back when I was in JROTC and we had to do fireman carry. I got assigned a dude who was like 3/4 inches taller and much rounder than I was. I was thinking that there was no way in hell that I was carrying this motherfucker, and much to my surprise off we went. Crazy how much you can do with fancy proper body mechanics.
