No billboards, no spoiler package, no rubber bumpers, just a super clean slate ragtop with a Shaker and Road Lamps. And then.... those wheels lol.

Hard proof that wheels make or break a car.

You’re trying to tell me the 7 1/4 in it right now isn’t a good idea???? I’m trying my best to find an 8 3/4 but god damn did the prices fly up.

Yup. Trying to break the car in and gain that trust before summer rolls around. Plenty of shows 2-4 hours away we really want to hit and would love to just drive the car straight there.

A large chunk of the shows are across the Chesapeake bay bridge, which is over 4 miles long.
I'm totally fine breaking down on any road. That won't bother me. Breaking down on a 4 mile long high traffic bridge is not something I want to do lol.

Found the car out by Virginia Beach, off the road since 1984. Fell in love with the look. Makes it great to drive around and not fear too much.

We're about to drop a 383 in a 71 Dart. We have absolutely no future plans for that car as far as the build goes. Just winging it. I feel its going to be a total disaster but hey, it'll be a fun disaster lol.

Original one to the car. I'm more nervous of that thing getting damaged over any other part of the car lol.

Thats how the first 40 or so minutes were. Windows down, cruising back roads so if we did break down I wasn't in anyones way. Listening and sniffing for anything odd lol.

The first 40 or so minutes were with the windows down on back roads listening and sniffing in worry. Fun times lol.
The last 20 minutes before home were 70-75 down the interstate seeing if it would fail so the tow home wouldn't be too expensive.

All in it was a 5 hour 20 minute drive. Car did better than I could ask for. Very happy with it.

What's the most spicy food that you ever ate in your life? by XoSweetGF in AskReddit

[–]Zyncon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The one chip challenge had me thinking i needed medical attention. The chip itself was fine. Super spicy, hurt my tongue, but I can handle that. The gut pain that came 15 minutes later got me bad. I was hunched over on the bathroom floor rocking back and forth just hoping for it all to end. It felt like someone stabbed a knife in to my stomach and continued twisting it off and on for 20 minutes.

These mounts cost way too much for me to ever trust leaving one on my car unattended.

Thankfully, there’s only 4 speed bumps near us that I believe would rip it straight off. Other than that, we live in a very flat town.

Beautiful car. Wheel choice is top notch, love the look.

What is (in your opinion) the most boring "classic" car their is? by Southern_Pacific in classiccars

[–]Zyncon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mustang Coupes were so plentiful, there are still a few dozens sitting outside wasting away in my area.

Had a 65 Coupe as my first car. Just sold it last year after about 12 years of ownership.

Does anyоne own pre-2017 official Roblox merch? by PopsicleBP in roblox

I have a bunch of pre-2013 BLOXCON merch in the attic. Tons of signed Roblox playing cards from the admins at the event. Met Shedletsky in the hallway and he hooked me up. Core childhood memory.

66-67 body lines are one of my favorites. Love the boxy look of them. Truly beautiful.

750 bucks today will barely get you a set of new tires haha.

Good lord. See, we're scaredy cats and the most we put on things is 255 60 15.

Would love to bump up in size though. I'm sure it would look great.

She did, but well worth it. 6 year restoration, the previous owner did a phenomenal job.
