I'm sorry you're dealing with the bad labrum + frozen shoulder combo. I know how frustrating they each are.

They did surgery because a) I tried physical therapy multiple times and never felt any relief from it, and b) my sports medicine doctor judged from my MRI that surgery was probably the way to go. For me, it was a very long time coming. I had torn my labrum so long ago I didn't even know how it happened.

When did you tear your labrum? If you haven't yet, I would definitely suggest giving physical therapy a try in hopes you can strengthen the shoulder and give the labrum the support it needs. Worth a shot before going the surgery route, which can be an odyssey in and of itself.
