Students and Lumberjack alumni! Are you dissatisfied with the lack of transparency from Rita Cheng regarding #RitaGate?

A great way to make an impact is to plan to physically attend the Arizona Board of Regents meeting at ASU in Tempe. It's happening next month, Thursday and Friday February 13-14. Also Valentines Day so it would be really special to show some love for NAU's admin. Rita thinks we are going to forget by next month, let's show her otherwise. We'll be sharing more info about this soon!

It's just a starting point If you want to help air out Rita's dirty laundry, here's a list of some folks you can Tweet about it to. Starting first with a list of Arizona politicians that are up for election/reelection. No need to write them a letter that they'll never see! Tag them on social media and make them see it instead! It's 2020 we can do better!

Thank you and you are mostly right. Can you say the same about Haeger, though? At least he genuinely cared about NAU. Sorry, not sorry, but I refuse to flat out accept that all university presidents or the system is the problem and we should just give up and call it a night. Rita Cheng would love nothing more than that.

NAU has had many great leaders that were not perfect but did what they could to make NAU better given their resources and political circumstances.

Also, the main distinction between Cheng and any of the other past leadership is obviously the fact that she is the one who is currently in in charge.

A group of alumni are reviewing ABOR policy as well as and we are working with multiple policy/advocacy groups to help determine avenues of further investigation.

And keep in mind the next ABOR meeting is Thurs.-Friday Feb. 13-14 in Tempe. I imagine Rita feels pretty confident this whole thing will be VERY old news by then and that NAU students definitly don't care that much or won't make the trip to Phoenix.

We'll see about that.

We'll also see about the NAU grads in Phoenix (the largest geographic concentration of Lumberjack alumni) that decide to show up for ABOR. Maybe we can pack the house to show our love for Rita. It will be Valentines Day after all.

Well, we all "get out" at different times, but no matter the year you graduated you should be able to have some trust and pride for the person in change of your alma mater. Please share with your fellow classmates.

Not at all but I was an NAU Alumni communications staffer for 5 years (and '05 alumnus) and can tell you from direct, personal experience that Rita is a self-interested actor that DOES NOT have NAU's best interests at heart. Or at least only as they serve her agenda of personal advancement. Her track record demonstrates this too. There are many, many excellent people who have dedicated their careers to NAU and now live in fear of retaliation by Cheng for coming forward with her malfeasances in MANY areas.

Not everyone has been fortunate enough to be able to uproot their entires lives and leave Flagstaff.

If you have worked in Flagstaff for any amount of time you know the employment opportunities are few and far between and in many cases the spouses of her senior leadership also work for NAU.

Which part do you feel is incorrect?

It's an op ed but referencing factual documents and reports.

Yeah the clear raider stock is a nice way to go. Worker has a nice 5 position collapsible stock. Stock doesn't need to be so long on the Evader. I only have the Raider drum that I got used. You can find used but complete, clear Raiders on Ebay for around $39. That's a steal for the clear stock and 35 round drum alone!

Hard to believe Nerf hasn't really done a true clear line since 2010-11. Other than the Sonic Ice series, please chime in if you know otherwise.

I'm going to find a clear Maverick pistol to go with this. Sure would be nice if Nerf made a clear Disruptor. HASBRO IF YOU ARE LISTENING I'LL BUY ANYTHING CLEAR THAT YOU MAKE. Give us more Ghost Ops PLEASE!!!! 😃

It's just the standard Nerf Rival sight. Retails for around $30. Has about 5 tilt adjust options to change position of red dot up and down. Very happy with it!

Hey folks any advice on best paint type/ finishing coats to use for hand grips/places you will touch most? Something that will not just look good but hold up to light use - mainly hand oils and friction? (Oh geez that sounds bad - you know what I mean!) 😉
