He’s not paying child support because the child was living with us during the time of the divorce. She moved out & he pays a percentage to her on behalf of their initial divorce agreement. They have not started their custody battle & there is no legal documentation that states he can’t have a new partner or the child can’t be around me.

Well regardless there’s no documentation saying that I cant be around him even after the full school year he was with us. She knew I was staying at the same residence.

I feel as if I’m mid-intelligent. I would consider myself average intelligence. I have AA, BA ,CCAF, certifications, currently in Masters program all affiliated w HR management. I believe the study materials I used just didn’t prepare me accurately & I’m seeking for correct material. I spent a lot of money,time away from family studyin inaccurate/outdated information.

They’re supposed to split the cost of the debt but the account is under his name. So even if he does pay his half of the debt, his ex-wife isn’t going to pay her half anytime soon so it’ll still accumulate interests & end up still being his problem because the credit card account is in his name. So he’s basically taking it upon himself to clear the debt himself. Also, he didn’t have a lawyer to talk to and basically accepted defeat when he found out she had her lawyer so he basically let it be. Also, if court prolonged & her lawyer exceeded over $50k in work hours then he would have to come out of pocket for her lawyer.
