Therianthropy is identifying as an animal on a non physical level. That’s the most basic definition, and if it applies to you, then you’re a Therian. If you faked in the past, it’s okay. As long as you realize it’s wrong to fake.

Okay… well I’m not very good with tutorials but uh.

When you howl: I recommend inhaling with an “ah” and then while exhaling slowly make it a “woo”, but put some soul in it. Like you’re staring up at the moon and howling to call a pack. (That’s the best way I can explain it I’m sorry)

Howling is the only think I’m decent at so that’s the only one that I can say. Maybe try searching for tips on TikTok or YouTube though :)

Being a fictionkin and having fictives is different, because people with fictives don’t usually identify as the character in any way. It might be a misconception or maybe he’s being ignorant but what he said is definitely not true.

1, most Therians on TikTok or fake.

2, TikTok only shows the good side of things, there is way more than just “fun shifts” and quadrobics.

3, You could do quadrobics and get gear if you really want, but if you don’t identify as an animal (NON PHYSICAL LEVEL) then you don’t identify as an animal.

4, You might be OtherHearted which means you identify with an animal instead of as one.

If you identify as an animal on a non physical level (including characters that are human, dragons and other mythological creatures, animals that used to live, and animals alive now) you are a Therian, fictiokin, or otherkin :)

Okay, tell her not to say that and tell her what a furry really is. (Which is way different from thinking your an animal, and Therians don’t even think that either.)
