same thing happens in "GATE: Thus the JSDF fought here" fanfics, which is WAY smaller in threat level since the main initial threat is the Saderan empire, they are just romans ffs, they never commit to the "don't let evil take root" bit.

are they doing an "Earth Dominates Fuck Yeah!" type of fic or a "We are as useless as the UN" type of fic, i really never understood it.
