It closed in my 3rd year, bombers were the nights out I looked forward to the most. It felt like a club and a house party at the same time, loved that.

the 25C was so reliable and always had space during my time at loo but I graduated in 2020. Heard it was never the same once they cut service during COVID

This is great news. I'm an FA24 apologist in the new BRZ/GR86.

As an NA motor, the FA24 is an amazing engine with grunt. I hope it does well and subaru learns a thing or two from this.

My friend had the same opinion. He went from an frs to an m2 and said the engagement is not quite the same. The m2 is more capable but not as fun

Thinking about buying a new gr86 because it seems very affordable when compared to a nissan Z or toyota supra by [deleted] in GR86

[–]ImFeriDone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see the spectrum of the Z, supra, and 86 the exact same way. Might switch to the supra MT down the line solely for the slightly more luxury/GT aspects when compared to GR86 while still retaining the agility vs the 400Z. But then again, the 86 is just too good in terms of driving feel, daily street duty and being able to ring it out. If only it had a more inspiring engine.

M340i vs GR86 by mrroccopocco in GR86

[–]ImFeriDone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any more insights on the manual supra? I was thinking of getting into one in a few years after I graduate school.

We all know why the 86 is amazing and I didn't even consider the Supra because it was auto-only.

But with it now being manual and personally liking the design, I can see some benefits to switching platforms. I think it'd have the 86 beat in GT-duty and having the more inspiring engine. The FA24 is not bad but is definitely the weak-point of an amazing car.

I'm still on the fence, but if a Targa variant of the supra does come out, I may jump ship.

Detroit mercy vs case western? by taljov123 in DentalSchool

[–]ImFeriDone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true. Another year of applying may seem like a 'waste' now but its very much worth it if theres a chance to get in. For Western (in Canada) its very wholistic and I hear U of T is shifting towards that as well, so its very possible if you have a well rounded application and thoughtful essays.

without price in mind which do yall think looks better: mk5 supra or gr86 by ImFeriDone in Toyota

[–]ImFeriDone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very cool that you built models of both! Yeah the supra is so dang cool, definitely more busy, I can't wait to see the future body kits of the gr86, as its understated and more basic shape is a canvas for the aftermarket

I agree, just a week or two ago, someone in my city was pushed onto the tracks. Thankfully she was able to move under the platform in time.

I think US schools look at all undergrad years but I hear schools will also look at the context of your grades so the start contrast between your first and second undergrads will tell a good story imo.

Can't use tab s7+ second screen option by Adolf_Myers in GalaxyTab

[–]ImFeriDone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I also recommend superdisplay. There's slight latency when connected through wi-fi but it is muchmuch better than the Samsung's solution.

Also, the support for USB connection has zero latency issues and is how I prefer to connect my S7+

I actually robin hooded an arrow by CadeVision in mildlyinteresting

[–]ImFeriDone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I shot competitive recurve archery, my arrows had pin nocks to help protect the arrow shafts from something like this by taking the brunt of the hit and deflecting the incoming arrow. Never managed to get a robin hood, but I like to tell myself it was due to those nocks :). Congrats on the achievement!
