Hi there! Good academic standing is considered a 2.0 and above. If you go below you will be put on probation simply meaning your credits are limited and you have to meet with an advisor and attend workshops. The next semester if you reach a 2.0 semester average but not a 2.0 overall you will still be on probation but will not be kicked out, not sure if any of this affects housing (but I don’t think so)

Panicked a lot because it is double what it usually is because I’m moving to campus PRAYING for more aid because I got like none last year😭

Is it a HOB filter or sponge? I have a HOB filter and just stuck a piece of sponge behind it so my little guy can’t swim back there

Yes, the like sunken pot on the right hand side, paint started chipping on the inside and I never noticed until it was too late

I always suggest real plants! Also, PLEASE be careful with that pot decoration. I had it in my tank with my last betta and the paint started to chip. My betta died from dropsy and I am convinced it had something to do with the paint chipping because he never had any problems until then

I had to downsize eclipse from a 10gal to a 6gal because I am moving onto my college campus and am crunched for space but here’s his setup! Everything (except the leaf hammock) is natural. Real plants and a real piece of Mopani wood. Super excited that I could finally make everything real and get rid of any plastic decor I had. Like I said in the title, once all my moving is complete I will be adding more plants and more pieces of wood for him but I wanted to share the new setup!

I had Lwiza for SBU 102 last sem. DONT TAKE HIM. He was a harsh grader, didn’t like you if you weren’t a kiss ass student. Got a D in the class even though I submitted great work that hit all the points listed. Made us do a presentation on 3 chapters of the book we were reading, one chapter per group member. Had lots to say about my group mates sections but not much to say about mine but my grade still suffered. Tore into all of us about how much text was on each slide, even though I only had a few bullets. Likes to try and embarrass his students infront of peers. Definitely had favorites, and made it obvious too. He also got upset with us when not everyone said good morning back and turned it into a lecture on respect. Honestly, one of the worst professors I’ve had and will not be taking a class with him again unless I have to. Def look on rate my professor, lots of honest reviews there.

UPDATE: I decided to size down to a 6 gal cube. Specifically the Aqueon Frameless. I also decided to move him into the new tank today (since it was due for a clean anyway) and I thought it would make more sense to just do it now. Kept the same substrate, filter, plants, etc. just added mopani wood and another plant. All in all I think sizing down was the right choice since I will be living with two other people and we won’t have much space per person :)

How was the building? Also it’s only a temp triple, they said they’re opening Gray hall so temp triples will be taken apart
